When does the club take a stand?

We’ve all heard loads of shit being spouted about us being cheats ect. But I may have come across the most cut and dry case for the club to take a stand and issue legal papers.

Step forward the man who is to marriages, what Dwight Yorke is to parenthood, Jermaine Pennant.

On a podcast with the other husband of the year Jermaine Jenas, has just come and said we’ve paid Michael Oliver.

Surely we’ve got to take a stand and start clamping down on these brain dead idiots.

I’m glad he got a right kicking off the City players in the seniors 5 a side tournament now.

Never take it for granted that a man who forgot he owned a Porsche has anything to say other than "Do you want fries with that?".

They won't respond because there's no need to. We got the win and that's all that matters. By the time the next game comes around it'll have been mostly forgotten about. We're only still hearing about it because there's no round of fixtures this weekend to look forward to. It's only still on the agenda because 24-hour TV demands constant content, being churned over and over. Usually we'd be discussing the coming games on Saturday, debating over who's injured, what tactics will be used, what the result will be, etc. But because it's an international break we've just got to endure last week's recycled storylines. Best to just switch your phone off, get off social media, and watch these videos over and over again until the Newcastle game.

Paying any attention to it gives it credibility.

The clubs upper management doesn't operate in the public eye. They're pretty consistent with that.

If we are found innocent in the FFP review, there isn't going to be a victory lap or 115 merchandise. At best you'll get a press release and a discussion of the basics of it from Khaldoon in his yearly interview.

Social media and national media for that matter hasn't been worth the effort as a City fan for years.

Understand the ire. But I was today years old when I found out that these two clowns have a podcast. I only just found out a minute ago that anyone really considered Jermaine Pennant to be a footballer.

Nothing affects my support of City more than the opinions of the Wildcards Podcast.

Oh FFS, no 115 merchandise ? Are you sure ?
That would be a real earner for the club.
That said, I can't see the club going with 'Fuck You Masters and Your Red Paymasters'

So yeh, I suppose you're right.

I read somewhere that Pennant is illiterate as well as being desperate. As for Jenas his career went down the toilet so he's just desperate. City should let Oliver take any legal action if he so wishes

They've let the likes of Delaney, Panja, Liew, Castle, Harris, Roan, Sweeney etc etc get away with character assassination for years; why will they do anything here? The hierarchy of the club is weak when it comes to calling these people to answer for their allegations.
I would expect better of you jim as a moderator of the forum do you shoot down at every idiot who comes calling for you or do you rise above it, accept your status and know that you're better, the club is better and more powerful than getting involved with the petty rants of idiots and thats why we largely ignore them. If we respond it looks like we have something to respond too and gives far more credence to these morons than they deserve, we just keep on winning and ignoring them which riles them up way more than a petty spat.
