GBNews had a 1-to-1 interview with Trump, Goodwin was spewing his rhetoric this morning on BBC News.
Farage doesn't need to say anything and laying into the BBC may not be very popular if it leads to its collapse. He'll let his surrogates do the dirty work. At most, you'll get a ridiculous comment followed by the usual Faragian "these questions need to be raised" excuse that he's not actually asking the question.

Not really, esp when you realize his base is the uneducated rural voter and the rich who are not touched by his politics and policies, except in positive ways.Yet a high percentage of Americans belive him. That's more scary.
As the recent elections have shown (I hope), the majority of even those Americans realize THIS is not what they voted for. TACO Trump flailing about, selling the Office for a few shekels here and there, tearing down the People’s House for a hardy ballroom where he can entertain more high rollers and Middle Eastern Heads of State to line his own pockets, etc, etc…

His decision to supposedly go ahead with legal action confirms what a petty, vindictive individual he is.
I also wonder to what extent Farage is egging him on. I may have missed it but has Farage issued a statement on this situation and whether he thinks it's a step too far. My own view is that the BBC certainly has faults but it would be a terrible loss to the media world.
He's threatening to go ahead with legal action. That's not the same as actually doing it.

It's not difficult to construct a theory.
Trump watched pictures from 5 years ago which Fox played on the pretext of them being this year. Trump immediately believed that Portland was a warzone and he had to send in troops - after all Fox must be true.
Trump is shown pictures claiming white South African farmers are being assaulted, etc. Trump immediately believes it even though it's not from South Africa, because he wants to believe it and isn't bright enough to realise that he's being spoonfed, and immediately threatens sanctions against South Africa.
Fox show something about Nigeria, claiming that Christians are being wiped out. Trump immediately believes it and threatens action (which GI Pete enthusiastically agrees with and says they're looking into it), despite the fact that Boko Haram are basically killing anyone.
Fox will be offering up soft balls about how great GBNews is and not those evil commie BBC types. Trump will believe it and threaten immediate action against perceived enemies.
He's completely led by what he sees on Fox. His advisors know it, Fox know it, and the billionaires know it too.
I suspect that there are probably a couple of hundred other examples.
