Over in Austin for a few days, saw a guy with a Trump 2024 t-shirt on with the legend "Fuck your feelings". Seemed to chime with what you are saying. Had to resist the urge to ask him if Trump managed his feelings well.

Trump watched pictures from 5 years ago which Fox played on the pretext of them being this year. Trump immediately believed that Portland was a warzone and he had to send in troops - after all Fox must be true.

Trump is shown pictures claiming white South African farmers are being assaulted, etc. Trump immediately believes it even though it's not from South Africa, because he wants to believe it and isn't bright enough to realise that he's being spoonfed, and immediately threatens sanctions against South Africa.

Fox show something about Nigeria, claiming that Christians are being wiped out. Trump immediately believes it and threatens action (which GI Pete enthusiastically agrees with and says they're looking into it), despite the fact that Boko Haram are basically killing anyone.

Fox will be offering up soft balls about how great GBNews is and not those evil commie BBC types. Trump will believe it and threaten immediate action against perceived enemies.


He's completely led by what he sees on Fox. His advisors know it, Fox know it, and the billionaires know it too.

He believes the last thing he was told or shown by the last person he spoke to.

He can’t hold two ideas in his head at the same time and his critical thinking skills are non-existent.

He says what they tell him to say, because they shovel him bullshit all day…and only the kind of bullshit that will not make him mad at them!

Then, when he is in front of impromptu cameras and microphones is when you get to hear how fucking stupid he is!

There’s a reason why he has threatened to sue the pants of any school he attended if they ever release his grades!! YES, HE’S THAT DUMB!! His Father paid millions to get him into Penn’s Wharton School of Business, and even the people who remember him there will tell you how dumb he was!

Literally just flew with one! I told him NOT voting would have been easy, and voting for Harris would have been even better in his home state of Wisconsin!

“Harris?! I couldn’t vote for her!”

They seem to think they really are electing a King or a Queen and don’t understand that until Trump, Presidents actually stayed within the guard rails of history and didn’t try to run roughshod over the Constitution, forcing the Supremes into Emergency Action on a regular basis!

When I told him that Biden should have stepped down as soon as his ill health was affecting him, he agreed!

Then, I said, “Yes, that would have made some positive history! We would have had the first woman of colour as a President. A women of Indian and Jamaican heritage that had spent her entire adult life in public service after growing up poor with a single Mother. What an American Dream story that would have been!”

“Ugh! Harris? That would have been a nightmare!”

No policy concern, no mention of anything he thought she had ever done wrong, just her name…which simply meant black woman who was ineffective in her 100 day campaign!

I just smiled.

This is a guy who was born in Kensington, London to an American businessman stationed in London for 5 years, who loves to tell me about how great life was in England!

ENGLAND!!!

I told him, “I doubt you saw much of England, as I’m sure you saw the life of a toff!”

Of course, they had a driver, servant, he went to the American School, etc, etc, etc…

His only saving grace? He brought HobNobs for us to share on the flight to Barcelona!!!!

Can anybody who actually knows tell me - where are the Epstein files stored (either physically or digitally) and how immune are they from White House interference/ editing?

I had thought it inconceivable that they wouldn't have been de-Trumped by now, under his instruction, but the release of those three emails this week restored some faith in their neutrality.

And therein lies the problem.

That guy will never vote for a Democrat.

Ever.

He can’t be objective.

He’s scared what his manly friends will think if he voted for a “lib”.

So as much as we’d like to think he or others will learn something from this episode about country before party, or person before party, they won’t.

This isn’t 1976. Voters aren’t going to take revenge on the GOP unless the nation is in a recession with stagflation. Even then, the vast majority of GOPers will likely blame Biden somehow.

Trump isn’t the depressing part — it’s the inability of so many — some dumb, some otherwise smart — to think rationally and objectively about the choice set that’s depressing. Party platform CAN be important and often is but the PERSON is often the MOST important part of a voter’s selection. That it wasn’t in 2024 is a problem that doesn’t get solved easily.

Yep - for MAGA, their very existence is defined by Red v Blue. It's so depressing - all the more so because they are too stupid to recognise that their leader genuinely despises them.

I may have said this before on here (hopefully not), but if a MAGA experiences something totally apolitical - say, hears a love song for the first time - they won't allow themselves to declare whether they like it or not until they know the political leanings of the artist.

The hope is the “stay at home” Republican voter, because the party lines have been drawn so starkly in recent years…mostly by RWNJs saying the Dems have been taken over by the LWNJs!!

In his latest attack on The Mayor of London 'Donald Trump has claimed that London is so dangerous that "people are being stabbed in the ass" . Interesting that he expresses this concern in light of the most recent allegations in the Epstein files.

Yep, he’s the first person to “ace” an MRI scan. He’s probably aced X rays as well. Doubt he’s aced a urine test or a cholesterol test though.
