Thought the same too. Often happens.
Or a close up of the united manager. Especially when he’s just sat there looking impassive/gormless (delete as appropriate).
 
What an outstanding job Andree is doing and he seems a good guy too. In Therese we trust...

A top performance all round with some stand out performances - Jade Rose was magnificent, our three Japanese players were as usual very good. I've been going on about how Yama should be our constant number 1 because she gives the defence more stability - not had a lot to do today but that "injury" timeout at a key point was vital as we scored straight after and you could see Utd slump as a result.

No coincidence too that with Hemp back we didn't look as vulnerable down that flank. Kirsten has improved so much she deserves the captaincy - Viv looked classy all game and really put a shift in. More mins for our new signings now they are fit.

In fact every player was at least an 8 out of 10 - we never saw a team so well prepared under the previous coaching. Happy days, let's keep it going.

Spot on this. And under Taylor we'd probably have lost that game 2-1

I hope they don't have to play any more European games or they'll get relegated.

Who am I kidding, this lot and the men's team getting relegated would be quite nice in reality.
 
Can't help feeling we might have won that if we hadn't sold Jess Park:)

It seems churlish to appoint a POTM when everyone was on it, but you can add my vote to the Jade Rose love-in. One slightly underhit pass apart she was peerless. The run in the build-up to the key second goal was top notch.

If you said "Company A has treated me awfully" when it was actually company B that you had the experience with that would be misleading and disingenuous on company A.

Nevertheless the camera work was awful, so my point still stands. I don't really care whether it was BBC or Unicorn TV.

Fantastic team performance. On it from minute 1 and didn't really let up in that first half. They had a 5 minute spell where they moved the ball around a bit but never really threatened our goal. Seemed like the back post corner was a plan as we tried it a couple of times before getting a goal from it so it worked eventually. Great header back into the danger area from Bunny and Knaak redirected it perfectly for the opener. Fantastic work from Jade Rose to bring the ball out of defence and lay it on for Casparij to put in a brilliant cross for a Bunny tap in ahead of a despairing keeper. Poor defending to stand off Hempo and let her shoot but what a shot it was. Thunderbastard to top bins. What a strike for her 1st WSL goal for a year. Great to have you back Lauren.

2nd half was played out a bit more conservatively and we were just trying to play mistake free football to not give them a chance. It worked as they ended the match without a shot on target. Yama should be ashamed to pick up her paycheck :) Would have been nice if we went out to really punish them though.

Don't think we had a bad player on the pitch and everybody contributed. Viv's best game for us this season and a shame she didn't get on the scoresheet. Great work rate from Fujino & LBB and as mentioned it's great to have Hempo back. Hopefully she can stay fit for a while now. Jade Rose was great at the back and hope that nast clash of heads at the end don't derail her form. A tireless captain's performance from Casparij who's probably been our player of the season so far.
 
Well the damage was done in the first half, especially late on, and the rags never recovered from it ..... wasn't really anything of note to follow in the second half, neither side really threatened to score, although Jade Rose did exceptionally well to head the ball off the line, and got a real 'shiner' on the forehead because of it .... as did the United girl, who in fact, got an even bigger one!
