Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't the case be heard in a UK court and if so doesn't the Court set the level of damages not the Claimant

I just smiled.

This is a guy who was born in Kensington, London to an American businessman stationed in London for 5 years, who loves to tell me about how great life was in England!

ENGLAND!!!

I told him, “I doubt you saw much of England, as I’m sure you saw the life of a toff!”

Of course, they had a driver, servant, he went to the American School, etc, etc, etc…

His only saving grace? He brought HobNobs for us to share on the flight to Barcelona!!!!

Sad thing is, if First Officers could have one for Captains, I have a feeling they’d be using them about 10 to 1!!

When bidding our monthly schedules, we have an AVOID function that allows First Officers to avoid flying with certain Captains. They’d rather not go to the place they wanted than fly with that Captain if he’s on that trip!

And, that function gets lots of use!

In fact, we have a Captain that is retiring this month that FOs are literally giddy that he’s leaving!!

Sometimes, it’s no fun being locked in a very small room with someone you REALLY don’t like, don’t want to talk to, and certainly don’t want to listen to…for hours on end, usually through the night, on long, quiet international flights!!

In the short term, perhaps. My hope is that Trump has gone too far, the pendulum has reached its apex and is going to swing back to the middle.

However, my bigger concern, as expressed here repeatedly, is that Trump is a grifting sideshow to the White Christian Nationalists to whom he has given the keys to the kingdom, and they are dismantling the country from within and erecting their own country in its place.

Wasted space that should be charged with Crimes against Humanity for what they've put us through.
