Just watching the Norway - Italy game

1. Both captains play for the boys in blue
2. Haaland just scored 2 goals in 2 minutes matching a world cup record for most goals scored in a qualifying period.
3. Bobb played extremely well and assisted Haaland

The squad hasn't looked this strong for years. I'll be honest I'd written this season off for us winning the title but now I'm completely locked in.

Gabriel getting injured is a big one, they've got spurs bayern and Chelsea for their next 3. If we can get a win on Saturday theyll shit themselves.

Despite the fact they seem to be media darlings whilst we are paggered for our Middle East connections, they're nowt to worry about. 0-2 City

This is a big game.
A draw is fine, keeps the decent run going
A win - play time is over for Arsenal. The Blues are back in town
A loss - it’s Villa away all over again and it’s the sort of result a team finishing 3rd gets

I think we can do it. But it’s dark, it’s Newcastle away, it’s stinks of some defender of theirs(see Cash V Villa) scoring early ish then us trying to break them down

Head says we should win, 2-0 or more than that
The City heart of mine hasn’t recovered from or poor away form V decent teams. That says 1-0 Newcastle

So, I’ll go for 1-1. Liverpool will likely win as will Arsenal so it’s as you were but we’ve had a good run and got another tricky away out the way

Still very buoyant after the last match, hope the players are too. Get up there and win and we may well be back in business.

I know what you mean but this is it for me. Win and I’m all in I don’t need to see anymore.
I already believe that City are going to challenge for the title regardless of what happens match by match. If you go back to Jan 1st, City and Arsenal have very similar records and it feels like City are getting stronger month by month. We've got Cherki in action now. We are still to be able to call on Rodri. Marmoush has yet to be tapped. Foden is now firing, Doku is getting better. Nunes and O'Reilly look the part in the full back positions. There is no part of City's side where I look, and worry.

That doesn't mean that I am confident for Newcastle (a). I think a draw is likely, and I'd take that now. Newcastle are strong at home. They got unlucky early in the season when they outplayed Liverpool and Arsenal but lost narrowly late in the game. I think Newcastle have a strong XI but struggle with the PL and CL in combination, a bit like Villa. You need strength in depth to be able to rotate players.

I don’t have any worries for city. I just don’t know how good we are yet. A PL title challenging side, imho, should be disappointed with a draw v Newcastle. Many city fans expect us to win (80% on here) but I agree it won’t be easy.

We may be the best in the world, play shit and lose at Newcastle.

Before we won 14 games in a row for the title in 2019, we put in a terrible performance at Newcastle and lost 2:1. It looked like we lost the title that night, as Liverpool looked very strong back then. But they couldn't beat Leicester the next day, then drew with W Ham, United and Everton. 6 weeks after our loss at Newcastle we were top of the table and stayed there till the end.

In short, one game shows little. We may lose by 2-3 goals and win the title or win by 5 goals, get giddy and win fuck all.

The tendency since United in September is very good. If we avoid an injury crisis, we'll get better and play some fantastic stuff.
