Will we win the league this season?

Is it significant that Arsenal have failed to beat: Man Utd, Liverpool, Manchester City and Sunderland? That they are struggling to beat the better sides is a sign of weakness.
I guess we'll find out soon. They have Spurs, Chelsea and Villa (x2) coming up in Nov/Dec. All higher in the table than the rags and scousers...did they not beat rags at the swamp?

This thread could be a classic if we win it!

Great that we seem to be improving and at least being talked about.

Arsenal have been hit by a groin injury to Gabriel Magalhães in the Brazil v Senegal friendly. The extent of the injury is unknown but it looks like a significant injury to me.

The fact that Liverpool and certain sections are focusing on one decision over the overall display last weekend is a key indicator that they're shitting bricks.
I think Liverpool have gone. They have big defensive problems that I think can only be fixed in the transfer market. By the time January comes along, they will be out of it.

Alyson Rudd in the Times reckons we win it,so that’s good enough for me.
Shamelessly blaming Liverpool’s form on Jota’s death in the summer. Not their home form, because of the famous Anfield atmosphere, obviously, it’s only when they play away are the team overwhelmed with grief.

Although this manifestation obviously didn’t apply in the first few games of the season, obviously.

Doesn't look serious they're hoping he makes Tuesdays game. If I was Arteta I wouldn't be best pleased if he's risked but then it again it's only Spurs.

I seen this excuse regurgitated over the weekend. I think it was The Athletic. If true how come it wasn't an issue when they were winning their first few matches?

Then I wondered if it had affected Portugals world cup qualifiers. They've just won 9-1 to make sure they top the group and go to the world cup.

It's almost like top level sportsmen can put these things to the back of their mind and just get on with the job

Not sure.

Of those four Arsenal fixtures, three were away so they’ve got three tough ones out of the way and they only lost one of them (Liverpool). They beat United and drew with City and Sunderland.

In our most recent title win, we also had an average record against the teams at the top of the league.

In 2023-24 the rest of the top 6 were Arsenal (LD), Lpool (DD), Villa (LW), Spurs (DW) and Chelsea (DD)… P8 W2 D6 L2 12/30pts.
