Worry for Rodri. I thought he himself said he would be fit for the next game. That seems weeks ago are they hiding something? I see that over the road Martinez is ready to comeback and I think he did his cruciate after Rodri. We haven't had a great record with Dr Cugat if he is still doing the ops, see Mendy and La Porte. Hopefully it is a muscle injury but wouldn't be surprised if he had to have another op. The transfer window may tell us something with Kovacic out also.

We seem to be more cautious about bringing players back from injury compared to so-called rivals.
I wonder if Pep had a bad injury or saw other player injuries when he was a player and they were brought back too early.
 
The players they are likely to miss in the starting XI are Livramento and Burn.

If Livramento is ready to play 60-70 minutes, Howe may start him, as Doku is likely to create big problems for Trippier and their defence.
 
Newcastle have got Marseille away on Tuesday so I can’t see them risking everyone who’s been injured and only just coming back, against us. Maybe half and half?

Nobody really cared about our owners apart until after 93:20. We were a bit of a laughing stock for signing mercenaries and average players on big money contracts.

Only Wenger really went in on us, mainly because we were asset stripping his best players.

Once we proved we could consistently win, it all changed.

Id settle for a draw tomorrow because this game is going to be so hard there fans would of been on the lash all day noise be very load, there midfield will be hitting anything that moves it be 100mph!
 
Would be absolutely lovely to win. Confirmation of the right trajectory and putting great pressure on Arsenal.

But its gonna be so tough. They have quality players and they gonna be fired up for this. Newcastle is much better than their league position suggests. I hate to say this but we have not been exactly superb away from home this season. Bar Wolves we been very good only against Villareal, maybe Arsenal and Brentford, maybe Monaco a bit unlucky?

We gonna need a massive performance to take all the 3 pts. We have a chance for this, we have huge talent and form up top, more solidity at the back (and Don). We play quite smart lately. Might be the battle of the midfield. My player to watch is Nico. Bernardo/Reijnders to help him.

In case we win tomorrow, we could be sure we are in the title race this year. And its not been expected thing for many here before the season.
