Fixtures Calendar - 2025/26

It was indeed 11:15am on Sunday. It was originally picked for TV coverage on the Saturday but had to be moved due to Everton having a UEFA Cup game on the preceding Thursday - they slipped into that competition at short notice after exiting the CL in the playoff round and missing out on the group stage. Sky didn't want to clash with either of its already scheduled Sunday TV games (the kickoffs were at 1:30pm and 4:00pm in those days) hence the early start.
I could be wrong but I think it remains the earliest ever Sunday kickoff of any PL game.
Pelligrini’s Villarreal IIRC

We've had some mad KO times for Everton especially when we both had a Chinese player....was it 10.30 for the TV audience when we had Sun and they had some other guy?
Li Tie he was called and he’s had a bit of a career!
The most watched game in China as it was billed. Both had an assist in the game as well.
Both of them went to sign for Sheffield United after they left their blue clubs, although they weren’t there at the same time.

Is it my memory or every time the fixtures come out we seem to be away at Boxing Day ( or around that date) and the same for the new year when was the last time we actually had both fixtures at home ..
Closest to what you’re asking about that I could find in the last 20 years was in 2010-11.
Boxing Day fell on Sunday and we were away at Newcastle. We then had home games on the bank holiday Tuesday (28th) and New Year’s Day against Villa and Blackpool respectively.

Well yeah, but no-one is ever going to get three on the trot at home.

You miss my point, chief.

I can’t remember any team ever having no home game between December 21st and January 4th. Every team always has one at home and one away. This year we have two away games. Why is this?

Last season we had Everton at home and Leicester away: no problem. This year, we are away twice at the end of December. I wonder if any other team is away both those two fixtures.

For those 2 rounds of fixtures I think it's the same 10 teams away for both.
