Reform 2025 Limited new name same business

I don't agree with "swinging", but he should certainly have stood trial for far worse than he did.

He has a wife and 7 children apparantly, their cushy life has just ended.
I do worry for his wife Larisa and the bairns, Sergei, Vladimir, Leonid, Marsha, Anastasia, Nikita and Mikhail…

The very same Nathan Gill that Farage said he hardly knew.

Gill has been deservedly banged up for treason.

Farage was making regular apperances on Russia Today, making anti British statements while at the same time he and Gill were making pro Russia statements in the European parliament.

Is there a connection? Well, it's inconceivable Farage wasnt approached by the same goons that bought Gill, given his pro Russia statements that mirrored Gill's.

He's a real snake in the grass, and still hasn't offered a plausible explanation regarding the finance of the house in Clacton his partner or his partners parents purchased after claiming he bought it, but then denied, when evidence was provided that proved he was, as usual, talking complete and utter bullshit.

Wonder if Gill got a Goodyear indication from the Judge. Seemed strange (at least from the footage I saw) that the Judge didn’t acknowledge his guilty pleas when passing sentence. You’d normally expect to see that referenced in the calculation.

Maximum sentence for bribery is ten years and so each consecutive sentence was about half that, so a bit less than the most he could have expected I guess.

Did she make reference to the fact that initially he maintained his innocence, only when the evidence was presented to him he decided he may be guilty after all.

Didn’t see that and it’s unlikely she’d reference that. People are entitled to change their plea if the evidence they face points increasingly towards their guilt. Most people plead guilty based on the evidence they face, rather than because of an overwhelming sense of contrition.

It may be revealing how similar in Language were statements made by Gill and Farage at the European Parliament. Including the " Stoke the Bear."

She made reference to the fact that he no commented during all police interviews, and at the pre trial hearing Feb 2025, he indicated a not guilty plea.
"No admission of guilt to police or pre trial hearings"

I don't know if that can affect the sentence ?

25%for pre trial please of guilty.

Ok, well I missed that. Did she say he’d got 25%? Defendants normally only get a 10% discount for a guilty plea on the day of trial.

If she did mention the discount then it’s less likely she gave a Goodyear indication.

It affects the sentence insofar as the later you plead guilty the less of a reduction you get.

Yes 25% mandatory.

Don't know "Goodyear" , but she also mentioned "delays not his fault", and will serve 5 years, so 50% of sentence, is that usual.

This should be the end of Reform.

Should be but watch the OTT explosion of outrage when the budget is announced- they’ll all be out in force, Twitter and TikTok will have endless clips about how Labour have destroyed the country and the racism will ramp up more. It’s a constant tidal wave Labour are up against.

The delay comment will refer to the listing of the trial and/or delays at the prosecution’s end, but a defendant can change their plea at any time. If their legal representatives approach the court with such an indication, it will get listed straight away as it will free up precious court time if there’s no trial.

He’ll serve five years three months, which is half his sentence. Yes that’s normal for an offence of bribery. Some offences, violent and sexual mainly, lift that to two thirds, but that plainly doesn’t apply here.
