I would imagine so.

Usually (going by what the ECB do) you get a full refund if there’s no balls bowled on a day.

So at least England saved the fans some money by ending the game so quickly.

Years ago we went to Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide over Christmas and new year to watch the ashes . Although we were shit and lost at least we made a game of it and made them last 5 days, I would be fucking livid arranging a tour now and being served up with this shit. They should go back to basics and learn how to use a bat. It’s nothing to be proud of hitting a fast fifty or so if ultimately you lose embarrassingly

Yep head played well because we didn’t bowl consistently in the right place! For me we should full and wide have field for that so slips a 3rd man and a mid-of and cover! Don’t let him hit the ball on the on side! We bowled wide, short to full both side of pitch! It’s was piss poor bowling! For once the Stokes captaincy!

Bowling like the batting is wank, just short of a length on or outside off stump should not be too difficult and set the field accordingly.Gus Fraser and Glen McGrath Terry Alderman all knew how to bowl. Long hops and leg side bowling is inexcusable even when I was playing club cricket

Call me a traditionalist, but I prefer the longer forms of the game, like ODIs where you at least get 50 overs per innings.

We need coaching properly and learn the value of our wickets and spending time at the wicket. England's top 4 batsmen should not be swinging from the hips at any level of the game. What sort of base does that give you to build a score

After the 5.0 whitewashing that we will get, please can somebody demand changes from the ECB and get proper coaching and management into our game and get rid of Bazball once and for all

Well Head played Bazball after he had settled in after 2 overs! Now everyone in the England camp have that to reinforce there beliefs! One person with no form comes in smashers it everywhere wins the game!

We have one batsman capable of playing a proper test innings. Root. That's it. We have to play this way, the alternative is just as shite. See the Burns, Sibley Hameed era where we scored at 2 an over and still collapsed in a heap with alarming regularity.

Now we do need to be a bit more streetwise at certain moments. Let yourself bat 30 balls before throwing your hands at a wide one at least, but in general the Bazball era has been miles better than the one proceeding it. It's brought us some great test wins.
