Match discussion - Notts F (A) League Cup - Saturday 22nd Nov KO 14:00

Blues I think. They gave the crowd as 2.6K iirc, but their supporters made virtually no noise the whole game.

Poor effort of Forest not to read out or even put on the big screen our starting XI today. So there definitely wasn’t much chance of seeing any replays of the goals. Some great patterns of play and hit the woodwork 3 times too.
Thanks. Any comments on Syd, Grace, Laura W.?

Every week I get more impressed by Andree in his post match analysis - he really understands the balance of saying exactly what was lacking and keeping the squad happy and wanting to fight for each other even when they are not in the starting 11.

Glad to see Grace get her goal and Sydney to get 90 mins. They will be so important to our midfield balance going forward.

Laura W a plus, great control. I wouldn’t wanna pass comment on Syd but she did ok.

Grace is the conundrum.
She looks fantastic in some situations, hopeless in others. She keeps the ball, but looks like she’s out of breath from minute 1. She rarely gives the ball away, but seems one paced/had zero acceleration. What she does do well is win possession in the tackle/gain possession from opponents. Overall, I think she’s an asset and wanna see more.

Why don't you want to say anything about Syd? I didn't see the game, unfortunately, but she was named Player of the Match, and it's worth mentioning that it was her first 90 minutes of playing time. I hope that leads to more playing time.
