Why cant we talk about how we played and also talk about the key decisions that influenced the result of the game.

Teams that play shit still get shafted by refs.
I only think possibly the handball was a key decision, not sure about tje offside because that is the first time I have seen sky use those images and pictures, but we didnt play well at all

No, but Foden should have had a penalty and their goal should have been ruled out.

We didn't play great (I thought we weren't too bad) but we shouldnt ignore these decisions from the review of the game because they had a significant impact on the result.

I dont think fodens was a penalty, and yes we can bitch about decisions, but for me that is just taking away from tje way we played, we were sluggish poor decision making, giving tje ball away to cheap and put not much real pressure on newcastles defence, set pieces crap yet again, but let's all deflect from that and blame the ref as always

Or we can talk about how we played, and not close our eyes and ignore the impact the ref had on the game.

That seems a more sensible approach to me.

Ok, let's talk about the refs impact? Let's sound like dippers and let's also talk about how our players performed

Talking about a refs impact on a game that's just been played makes you sound like a dipper?
But i am not the 1 talking about it though, its great on here, people love to slag fans of other clubs, but the same people bleat the same shit that they are slagging other fans for, we were not good enough we got beat again end of

Haaland should have scored early on and Foden shot wide when it was easier to score than miss. I think it’s better to focus on what we can control, if those 2 go in, or tbh even one of them, we’re off, totally different game, no tails up from them, quieten the crowd, game management, probably win 3-1

City did play well, dominant away performance ruined by not taking our chances when we created them. Newcastle always turn up for us, ref let them clobber our midfield most of the game. Hand ball brushed over to boot.

Totally agree.

I'm sure Erling had his 100th on his mind and was thinking too much instead of doing what he normally does.

Foden, Bernie, Sav all knew they probably would have to step in and score instead of Erling and felt the pressure.
All of them didn't even hit the goal! That's not the best sign in terms of confidence and fighting spirit to win that match if you ask me...

And for the umpteenth time I say "finish to the low corners" but well,
footballers... ;)

One of those days I guess. I missed the fire and passion to show they want 3 points and attack Arsenal. Never left the 2nd gear. No desire to take a finish at the edge of the box. Some chaos in a packed box and anything can happen. Our lads don't even try. (Shakes head.)

Hope this fukcing 100th PL goal falls asap for Erl and we can move on quickly.

That's nice if you want to think like that. I'm happy to talk about all aspects of the game including the officiating. It seems silly to me that anyone would feel that they cant, or would encourage people not to.

I do love when people use the "same people" line though. I wonder if theyve actually taken the trouble to check what individuals say about other clubs and then what they say about us. Or are the just full of shit and "same people" seems like a good line to them.
