And it’s not blind faith. I’m basing my opinions on recent campaigns. City usually come home strong in the 2nd half of the season and Arsenal usually bottle under pressure.

Nah I’d have Trossard over Doku right now. He’s matched Dokus goals this season in 1 game. You can’t complain only Haaland is scoring and then give Doku credit. 1 goal all season.

I’d also have Eze over Foden right now.
 
As a rule, the team that wins the most games, scores the most goals, concedes the least goals wins the PL title. No shit Sherlock! ATM , and it could change, that team IS Arsenal.

I’ll come back to the discussion after the Chelsea v Arsenal game.

They have, but they are still dragging results out, like we used to do when we won the titles.

Whereas we’re losing tight games by the odd goal or by really poor performances.

I don’t think that’s fair. It’s unlikely we will win the league, and arguably highly unlikely, but to suggest it’s not possible is more delusional than suggesting it is.

I didn’t say City can’t win the title. I said I don’t think City will win the title. I have given my reasons why I think Arsenal will win the title. Of course I could be wrong. Hence why I’m not a betting man. As the saying goes, you never see a poor bookie.

Ok, fair enough. I agree that Arsenal look far more likely champions atm, and they have to win it eventually I guess, but we’ve still got an outside chance I’d say. Need to win all the upcoming league games though.

Think it may be a season too early for this squad. But still could be possible the way other teams are losing.

Have you actually watched city this season? Doku has been one of the standout performers. Maybe you should be a tarquin.

Trossard is the 3rd choice replacement LW due to injuries. Eze is 1st choice and will replace Trossard when Odegaard is back. And Martinelli is the 2nd choice LW (Madueke can also play there).

This team and squad will always have a chance, especially if Haaland stays fit all season and keeps on scoring. It’s just a shame Rodri can’t stay fit, as we miss him enormously in midfield. We have to improve our away form if we have any chance of clawing Arsenal back. We also need Arsenal to start losing games as well.
