Vini is not renewing with Madrid unless Xabi is sacked. Seen a couple insiders confirm this as of late. Will be available most likely unless Madrid value him over Alonso.

Weird one where we don't really need him and he's a tool, but also would not want him in the Prem for another side. Just an annoying **** to play against. Only way I think the club bring him in is if the idea excites Pep into staying an extra year or two.

In saying that, not sure he's much better (if at all) than Doku at the current moment...

If he goes to Arsenal they are miles better than they are now. He is exactly what they need to reach the next level. If we want to continue our reign as the best club, we must prevent that. They will go all out for him surely. Seems he really does want out. Even Ornstein confirmed. Concerning for sure. Hopefully he's off to Paris.
 
He is a Madrid player he won’t move. Also where is he supposed to play? Doubt we will sell Doku. What the club needs is a RW not the next LW

Liverpool were the miles out best club before a ball was kicked and then they were found out as a busted flush, now Arsenal may win the league or they may not but football opinions specially on here are fleeting.

When the scouse bought Wirtz it was like the world ended on the transfer forum.

All of my messages on this forum over the off-season stated that I thought it was a 2-horse race between us and Arsenal this season. You can fact check that. I had Liverpool third in my predictions. So not everybody was head over heals for Liverpool. Too many factors were going against them coming into this season in my eyes. The main 2 being the aging of the core players, and the increased desire necessary to win back-to-back. Something we've made seem easy but it is extremely hard. Also the fact that Slot historically has NEVER won a title after his first season at a club. One-hit wonder. Was bound to fizzle out unless he changed his system (he never).

Both clubs obviously littered with talent. But Arteta is a much better manager than Arne and adding Vini would be scary.

Most were head over heels after Liverpool's spending splurge, Aresnal looked shit against Sunderland and a few bad results over the Xmas period and they'll finish where they always finish if they don't finish 1st.

Smells like Chelsea to me. They'll splash the money on him. Liverpool just got burned by a bad, and super expensive, transfer window. Man U maybe? Doubt it since money is an issue with them. Same with Barca. Seems as if PSG has gotten rid of all of their princesses and are doing better for it. Doubt they will go for him.

He’s not going to Arsenal. Saudi league then back to Brazil with few hundred million banked like his pal Neymar. He’s gone backwards since the moment he was told Rodri won the bdor.
 
He’s been there since he was 18. Perez’s biggest love child. If you ask a Madrid fan he hasn’t played great so a long time now. He did get better with pressing and being a team player but I just wonder how much do they back Alonso ? Vini has done a lot more obviously. But maybe if Vini is gone they can sign an actual striker like Alvarez. If they don’t win the league and don’t perform in the UCL I’m sure they will sack Alonso. Too early to tell.

Arsenal aren't signing Vini. He wants 30m a season and he's fell out with Arteta's best mate in Xabi Alonso. I'm guessing that's due to defensive demands, which Arteta will also ask for. Arsenal are close to PSR limits too. You'd think it's a new Real contract, PSG or Saudi given his demands

- Madrid will lose more points, meltdowns increase. End result: Alonso will lose the job.
- At the same time, Slot can't turn Liverpool's form back, he will also get sacked. Alonso will come in and replace him.
- Madrid will look for a big name coach to handle that dressing rooms, most likely Klopp, he's free right now. Liverpool will lose their mind again.
- Results come in, Vini signs a new contract.

End of story.
 
There is no way we’d entertain this even as a free after the Ballon D’or fiasco.

For me it’s making an issue so he has an excuse to take the Saudi money. It’s been reported a long time they’d go after him.

Zidane as interim coach / likely full-time at Madrid seems very likely if Alonso loses his job. Alonso does seem like a good fit for Liverpool. Good shout.
