If you want to test a player, include him in a strong, cohesive lineup. To field a reserve squad that hasn't played together and lacks harmony is a mistake on Pep's part that did not help the players. First half performance was shameful and dead.

Add in Reijnders who should be heading that list.

Utter disappointment and an awful buy so far.

Also, Ake. Who moaned about game time and then played rubbish.

Thought the best thing to do after a disappointing defeat is win the next game as soon as possible to set it right.

But apparently tonight just wasn't the night to set it right it seems (according to Pep and the staff)

Frustrating just isn't the word to describe the feeling most of us is feeling right now

Bobb - aint a wide player...is he good enough to be a 10. - probably not
Cherki - doubts growing over him
Marmoush - doesnt fit in this team if Haaland starts

Agree with most of this, however Pep picked them and I’m pretty sure would have been heavily involved in signing them

Probably a few too many changes with hindsight but still, we should have played a lot better than that tonight! Very poor all round really and rather disapointing. Disappointing that fringe players aren't stepping up to the plate. And very worrying if big erl ever does pick up a long term injury coz there's just no real goal threat other than him. Doesn't bare thinking about if he gets injured :-0.
The year or so I moaned about mahrez being poor, well my god, I hang my head in shame....because he's 20 times the player savio is. Not really sure he's gonna ever be the player Pep wants him to be but I'll be delighted to be proved wrong!! But at the moment I'm at a loss with him, doesn't do a lot and even when mahrez was poor he'd usually pop up at the back stick with an important goal.....savio looks like he couldn't score in a brothel :-(

I think the biggest concern that I have personally, is I don't feel any kind of feeling towards 90% of our squad

Over the years I've loved the majority of them, whether it be character, ability, desire etc

These lot on the whole are just 'meh' feels like there's a good few that feel like they've made it now they're here, and aren't actually bothered about winning trophies

The whole squad lacks character and mental and physical toughness, these were traits that our squad have had across the patch for the last 10 years, and that's before they showed their ability
