Even out best eleven isn't good enough , not when it comes to a scrap and getting the best from each player no matter their talent and quality, who knows whether Rodri will ever reach his best or near his beat again and aside from a good keeper and a goal scorer we have very little to offer , when it comes to the all the qualities you need. If you are not up for a fight and lack the qualities you refer or in some cases in our team don't show it often enough it doesn't matter who you put out.

Leeds will fight and harass and bring us down to their " level " .

We should be playing them off the park but if you don't want it badly enough and play accordingly we will fall short again.

Yes Pep stuffed up but if the attitude isn't there no matter who we put out these results will become the norm.

The squad is full of players that aren't good enough. We have a good first 11 but only if pretty much everyone is fit. The strength in depth currently is appalling for a club that wants to be winning the PL and CL, we are miles off it.

Well said @Marvin. the players do not go on that field thinking I’m going to play badly. It happens, a bad day at the office as the saying goes.
Yes we can criticise but not to the extent of taking every sign of hope and break their spirit. JMHO

But the lad is clearly struggling.

Well just a bit of pressure on Saturday now against what is a poor Leeds side who will put effort in, boy do we need a couple of early goals.

Even with all our success over the years this game has the potential to be rather toxic in the stands.

It's covered in the post game thread but resting the team was madness when 1/2 ended up playing 35 mins when the game was lost.

Newcastle we could hide behind some shocking decisions but last night was simply horrendous and now Pep and the players need to respond. My hope is we absolutely smash Leeds on Saturday and Pep and the players have that attitude of we'll show you what we can do.

Reality might not be that, but maybe there might be some positives to take from the last two games if we get that reaction for Leeds.

Huge this now. Reaction needed but can't be counted upon. Even with a reaction some in this squad aren't good enough. If you want to compete for top honours that is. Reading some on here, they're not that fussed.
