Can’t read anything into last night imo. Beyond the fact that changing the whole side when playing a top Bundesliga club is asking for trouble. Leeds aren’t hopeless, they can break at speed and will probably start with a lot of aggression. Their finishing isn’t the best and neither is their defence. So we should be ok.

He gave 100% last night which no other player did. Who plays in front of him marmoush bobb? I'm also not gonna jump on the bandwagon of just blaming 1 player after every bad result.
I'd probably play cherki off the right, move o'reilly as an extra man in midfield and play ait-nouri on the left. But thats me. 100% is the bare minimum that any professional footballer should give, I agree.

There are players, esp in younger years, who need more help from the crowd to develop confidence and shine. Savinho defo is one example.
It's a pure psychological issue, not about tactics, not about money, not about talent (he's shown in Spain he has enough).

He still acts like a little boy, not a man. He should move to a German club with organized support who know how to up a player if they can see he's talented but just lacks confidence. A year in Stuttgart e.g. where 60,000 push you forward - unconditionally!, not only if you score - would work wonders. The only players here to get so much individual cheers were our proven heroes Sergio and Kev.

Sadly we don't have that positive and helpful support, we mainly sing when we're winning. Why would we still talk about Hamburg when it wasn't an utter exception...

Back to Leeds. The team needs massive support come Saturday!!

We are on the edge to get into a negative spiral. Actually, you guys need to push them more than usual to give them the confidence they need so much. They are longing for it. They all seem to be blocked and shaky.

Give a ton in advance and they will pay back. We've seen it often enough before. Get ready for Saturday, and push em from the start. IMHO.

Last night's performance was unacceptable and I expect a reaction this Saturday. Leeds are a poor team especially on the road and despite the abysmal efforts from yesterday we should be getting 3 points. In terms of the team selection it has to be the same team that started the Newcastle game.

Put 11 of us lot on the pitch. I guarantee we will all give 100 per cent. We will be absolute shite, but we will try our hardest.

Having watched Leeds recently a couple of times, they have some pretty technical players in Tanaka and Aaronson and they will work like dogs for 90+ mins. We will have to match them for effort and energy. They will likely press the fuck out of us early in the game in our defensive 3rd seeing how effective it has been against us in a few matches. We are just not as press resistant as we were at our peak with Rodri and De Bruyne.
We should have enough quality to beat them comfortably if we apply ourselves properly. My worry is we continue to miss golden chances, Haaland included and you just cannot do that at Premier League Level. Were back to one chance one goal for the opposition as well proving it wasn't all Eddies fault after all.
Im not doing any more predictions as Pep may well start half the EDS after they buttfucked Leverkusen 6-0. Cant possibly be any worse than some who played for the mens team last night and I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more of Mukasa and Regen Heskey in our matchday squads.
I suspect Rodri isn't far off now either - they're making sure hes properly conditioned this time after his last stop / start. Hopefully soon, as it will be a great boost for everyone to see him back.

If that was really 100% then I'd hate to see him in a game he didn't turn up for.

And there's our current problem in a nutshell. Too many dilettantes in our team who aren't up for a scrap. Not enough of them prepared to put their bodies on the line, or even attempt to win a 50/50 ball.

It took a while for him to get there but Grealish eventually became an absolute tiger in that respect.
