Vat on Independent school fees?

If it is a choice between a disabled person getting the PIP cut, or VAT on tuition fees, I don’t think we should even be a question. Its not a question of envy, its a question of necessity. The party most of these people vited for, fucked up the economy for a decade. This is the result. You're party blew all the money. You voted for that. You had Brexit, the single most damaging economic decision we have ever taken.

They left a £40b hole. Being asked to contribute to filling the hole your party dug seems bang on to me..

If you go out for a drink with your pals and one of them is skint, you dont send him home, you stand him drinks. Because you're not a ****. Same deal. People who can spare a few bob due to their earnings, should. Only my opinion.
And mine.

Bang on

Usual tale of rising fees- leading to falling rolls leading to rising fees - mismanagement has a school with 540 places with only 360 pupils - VAT is incidental this business was failing and would close anayway

The "rich kids" are back at the very expensive public college down the road. Only 6 helicopters seen delivering the little ones for the new term.

Oh look - so its not going to cost us - and it appears the main reason is because the schools that were moaning jumped onto the bandwagon to raise fees more than was necessary - no wonder all the constantly outraged Right haven't mentioned this for a while

Aye, them the kids whose parents won’t blink at VAT being added making private education even more elite.

The Richest ones paid for their kids education by paying upfront ... thus avoiding the VAT .

Lets hope HMRC and the Government don't let them get away with it
