Well, I received my first state pension payment today so I now consider myself to be a fully paid up member of the FOC club.

I remember vividly fighting with the dentist and my dad as the tried to gas me to sleep to remove a tooth when I was about 6

At 8 years old I was taken to get a tooth removed and was waiting for an injection to put me out when I saw the mask looming. Sadly for the dentist and assistant I’d been given that fucking evil stuff to have my tonsils out a couple of years before. I was out the chair, through the door, down the corridor and halfway down the stairs before my Dad caught me. They forcibly held me down the bastards until I was out! I remember it vividly. However I was allowed to stay up late and watch the replay of the 1970 cup final- Chelsea vs Leeds
