If the players are *the* key, why is Pep the only manager in English football to win 4 titles in a row? Didn't United, Arsenal, Chelsea have great players as well, especially Ferguson's United and Mourinho's Chelsea 04-06?

Of course, players are very important, but it takes an exceptional manager to win multiple PL titles in a row.

You could argue winning the 4th is what’s left us in the position we’re in now. We chased that and remained loyal to several who were clearly approaching the top of the hill, rather than saying three’s enough, let’s do a proper transition/rebuild.

If Pep wins the title or the CL with the likes of Marmoush, Savinho, Bobb, Reijnders and a declining Stones and Dias, I’ll take my hat off to him and accept I’m wrong.

There is hardly anyone in the current squad who gets in the title winning teams of years gone by. Let’s see.

He really is.

It's genuinely embarrassing hearing this on such a regular basis, isn't it?
It's a total shim sham using Jota as an excuse.

The media and the dippers are tying themselves in knots trying to square this one off.

Jota was their inspiration at the start of the season and according to some; scored a goal for them at Wembley.

Heaven forbid (if you'll pardon the pun) the media blame Salah and Van Dyke for Liverpool's poor performance and they accept the half billion pound investment over the summer has fallen flat on it's arse.

Great post.

Spitty "Liverpool are not a sacking club" (Remember we had that with the Rags also)

Apart from : Houllier (left with a mutual agreement), Benitez (left with a mutual agreement), Hodgson (Sacked), Dalglish 2nd spell (Sacked). Rodgers (Sacked). So before Klopp they had sacked their last 3 managers and 2 prior left by mutual agreement.

Draw ..but if the hammers go for it a win, their defence is a shambles..
I'm not a betting man but if I were I'd put a few bob on the Hammers. I predict another defeat for the Thumb and he's be gone by Christmas, although who is going to pick up the reins at this stage of the season? The incredible amount of money that club have wasted on mediocrity beggars belief, so whoever comes in will have to -somehow or other- get them playing as a unit again, because as I see it, their season is all but over...and it's still only November.

My late brother was a season-ticket holder at the Hammers so I want to see them smash the bin-dipping grief merchants, if only for him.

So you're saying the dippers might have told a few porkies? Nah, not having it.
