The Labour Government

Not really true though, is it?

Workers will still end up paying more tax if their income is frozen or even declines in real terms, so they’ll still be worse off. It’s the whole purpose of freezing thresholds, funnily enough.

Meanwhile, if you’re on benefits, you don’t have to worry about that as Labour will increase them in real terms. Have another couple of kids and you’re really on to a winner.
If tax rates don't change how would anyone pay more tax if their income goes down? They'd be paying less tax.

He will as he will never be PM
You could be right, a wise man never trusts mid term polls which invariably hugely favour the opposition but in this case it could be different. Farage has captured the zeitgeist and unless there’s a Tory resurgence to split the right wing vote (about as likely as a utd resurgence) then it seems like his to lose.

Net migration down to 204k last year - the problem for the Right switches to "there are too many people leaving our country". The ONS say every 100k drop costs the treasury £7bn in taxes. So if its down by over 400k thats @£28bn LOST to the treasury.

Oh and the abolition of the 2 child benefit will be a ruinous £3bn cost. Thats the story - people leaving and stying to take kids out of poverty.

Not trying to convince anyone I already said im not that bothered about the numbers, we already knew about the 6% to 8% claims thats what started us discussing this.

Im not even gonna try and convince you to read posts and threads properly as you obviously have a closed mind and are certainly not as clever as you think you are:-)

Off you pop.

I read a report from Stanford; you rely on vibes; my mind is closed.

Thanks for your input.

Red Tory bastards.

It's almost like it's an apology for taxing some more rich cunts/corporations yesterday.

Can't let the facts get in the way of blatant lies to increase social media interactions...

The tories are not splitting any right wing vote because the leader is black and a woman

They are fucked

Farage has that vote sown up because he is what they are

If you can't afford them then you shouldn't have them. Shouldn't expect everyone else to pay for them

so a couple has 4 children and can afford them. Mum dies suddenly when all 4 kids are under 10 years old. Dad has to give up work to look after his kids. No relies on U/C. Your answer to a widowed man and 4 kids who recently lost their mum is "tough - not my problem why should I pay"?

I only ask because the decent humane Christian thing to say is "sorry this has happened. What can we as a collective do to help you"

Pmsl okay let's have have immigration at 2 million a year then, we will get £140 billion then wont we.

Yeah that's how it works:-)
