I remember Fernandinho being talked about exactly like this in his first few months with us.

Fernandinho was showing loads more than this lad though in his first few months way back in 2013, then he had that standout performance against Arsenal in December that year, scoring 2 goals and laying on an assist for Nasri, I haven’t even seen Reinjdeers put in a tackle in anger yet, I hope he improves but i don’t see it in him.

I thought Fernandinho was one of the primary reasons we were so good in Pellers first season, and this is after playing in Ukraine for a good number of years. From the get go Ferny was pretty much elite level from what I remember.

Barry's legs had gone and Fernandinho gave Yaya the platform to have one of the greatest seasons a midfielder has had in European league football in the last 30 years.

Yaya would never have had that great season without Fernandinho in my opinion.

From August-November, most Blues on here were talking like they couldn't wait to get rid of him.
Do we not have patience with players anymore, or have we become such spoiled brats and Dipper-like that unless a player instantly becomes a success we have to bin them off?

You want to brand him a failure after 11 games?
 
Pep fucking bollocked him for not being in the right position to press about 30 seconds before Leeds got their first goal. He was good in the first half but vanished in the second. Still got a bit to learn.

Think Pep wanted him where the yellow cross is but he was miles up and it left the midfield completely exposed. Things like that are what get you dropped.
