The tactical timeout from Donnarumma

Would the twat Farke had said anything if Arsenal or Liverpool had done the same think ? And what about the so called head injure from Leeds players ?

I am just sick of because its City a small time dick like Farke can call us cheate.
He may have said this previously about other clubs and their keepers ?
But, it would not have been highlighted on MOTD or the BBC Sports website...

I don't like it and would rather we didn't do it but teams have been doing it for 3 or 4 seasons now and the football authorities have shown no intentions to stop it.

To be honest it's been happening during legitimate injuries for decades now.

I reckon you'd be struggling to find a goalkeeper that has gone down more than Raya in the past 3 seasons for this exact reason.

Lewis-Skelly got his first ever yellow card v City before even playing a minute in the league for telling Raya to go to ground so Arteta could call a meeting.

It was very obvious like Foderingham did for SU when all the City fans behind the goal were fuming, then one second after they get up they are passed to their "injured" leg.

I'm not sure why the OP chose to make a thread to draw attention to our 'keeper doing it. It seems like one for the Darwin Awards.

Raya. Martinez etc masters at it. Ramsdale was the starter of all this and took it with him to Arsenal.

All I can think of is when we do something back like this to a team there's so much fume over the 115 and jealousy that it's always highlighted to try and have a dig whenever they can.

To be far to Farke, he’s likely due to be sacked. He set his team up terribly in the first half and was lucky not to be 5 down, his ‘tactical masterpiece’ in the second half actually created nothing, City were wobbling defensively but, at 2-2, he shit the bed and went back to time wasting.
However, is any of that on the back pages today? Of course not, so he’s actually played a blinder…

Who gives a fuck.
Other teams especially Arsenal have been doing this for years and nothing is ever said.
The second we do it the usual wankers in the media with our publically funded and supposedly impartial national broadcaster front and centre with their faux outrage and an article opened up for comments to provide an opportunity for the usual window lickers to post their libellous bile with impunity.
No doubt the usual suspects will be along soon to defend them saying there is no bias in their reporting.

Exactly. There are two things that we did in the game that I don't think should be allowed. Bernardo backing into their keeper for Gvardiol's goal, and the time-out fake injury. But they are allowed, and other teams (*cough* Arsenal *cough*) have been doing it regularly for ages. It's up to the lawmakers to deal with these things.

But yeah, the rank hypocrisy of it suddenly becoming a big story the second we do it isn't lost on me. It's the latest in a long line though, like 'time-wasting' from goalkeepers or the 'tactical fouls' from Fernandinho. Hell, perhaps we can use it to our advantage. Start taking 30-40 seconds over a long throw and it'll be banned in no time.
