F1 2025 Season

He had a slide.
You're not doing it right.
You have to buy into the narrative..

Years back, a young Anto had a kitten. He loved that kitten. Then one day, Max smushed his kitten in an evil act of accidental tragedy. Despite Max working tirelessly, peforming CPR on Antonelli's furry friend, it perished. Unable to accept this was nothing more than an accident, he has waited until this day to exact the best revenge he could think of...moving out of the way to gift Norris 2 additional points.

Lando Spursey Norris.

Liberty Media could get their wanktastic finale.

I would bet against Max winning the title in a one off race. He has the mentality the others don't.
I have never really liked Verstappen or Redbull, but I want him to win it now due to his never say die attitude. If he had a more senior/experienced team mate like Perez or Riccardo I think he would have won it by now. Both Perez and Bottas were so effective in disrupting rival the other teams strategies and sacrificing their own race for the benefit Verstappen/Hamilton!

Verstappen has done it all on his own, in an inferior car after being over 100 point behind half way through the season, at a team going through a management restructure!

Norris will probably get over the line, but only because there is only one race left. If Abu Dhabi aslo have sprint point available, my money would be on Verstappen, they shouldn't have scrapped the point for fastest lap!

Agree with all this! It was last season after disliking Verstappen I warmed to him

The fastest lap point was daft, how often did a driver out of the points make a late pit stop just to get the extra point? Not worth having.

Also, when was the last decent sprint race? Again, a pointless exercise.

They should scrap them and try and do something more exciting with qualifying.

Qualifying is already pretty exciting IMO. In some occasions such as Qatar and Monaco, a lot more interesting than the race.

I think you still needed to finish in hte points to get the extra one. What you sometimes got was a driver in mid-points having a go at it.

I agree what it was an irritation as are sprint races!

I don’t think anyone else can drive that Red Bull tbh. That and for him, there’s been quite a few races where it has been the best car.

Today Piastri was clearly quicker though, he was very unlucky with that safety car.

The hatred goes back to 2021 at the Yas Marina circuit, and the controversial safety car episode. Was he guilty of pulling a fast one? Absolutely. But he didn't make the rules, he just took advantage of them. Does anyone seriously think Lewis wouldn't have done the same, if the roles were reversed? Of course he would. And before I'm accused of being a MV fanboy, I've never warmed to the bloke. He's reckless at times on the track, and he comes across as an arrogant fucker. But you can say the same about a lot of the great drivers down the years. Schumacher, Senna, Mansell, Rosberg, Vettel and yes, Hamilton (always thought he came across as, if not arrogant, aloof). Is it that arrogance that gives them that edge?
