Both would be great. If Bernie and Kov left we’d have to replace both and certainly would be happy if we signed both.I’d be looking at doing both
Or will people accuse me of playing FIFA there :)

Same. I'm very late to the Anderson party. Even a month or so ago I was wondering what the fuss was about. But having taken a moment to watch a few 90's from him, he's top. Small pool of evidence right now but if he carries on for the rest of the season then I can see City doing it.
Wharton is the other option.
Very nice complimentary profiles tooBoth would be great. If Bernie and Kov left we’d have to replace both and certainly would be happy if we signed both.

I don't think anybody on City you listed were our first options/targets. We were in for the big names but they opted to go elsewhere. We were in for Rice and Bellingham and others before signing Nico G/Nunes. I'm sure we were in on the other lads you mentioned but they joined other massive clubs (Bayern, PSG, and Barca from the LB's you mentioned). So AN, Rico, Nunes and Nico G, rather than making serious bids for the likes of Davies, Hernandez, Mendes, Balde, or Tino?
Might take a bit of money, we paid £100 million for Jack, so why should be prepared to pay for the right player.

I think the same we were also willing to pay 100m for Wirtz. I don't think its for a lack of trying. We will be more than willing to pay 100m for the right player IMO.
Says Rhodri GiggsNo one can be held accountable for their brothers actions
If they still want him that is60M€ & Lewis. Job done.
everyone is entitled to their own opinion but Anderson is a good player. He’s been top for the last 2 seasonsAnother player who isn't good enough and now what we need.
Hell I'd take both considering the outgoings we're going to have this summer.Same. I'm very late to the Anderson party. Even a month or so ago I was wondering what the fuss was about. None of the above options were viable or worth paying the money for other than Mendes. So AN, Rico, Nunes and Nico G, rather than making serious bids for the likes of Davies, Hernandez, Mendes, Balde, or Tino?

In our teams of 4 to 10 years ago absolutely Wharton. But in the current evolving team, I'd give up some of Wharton's vision for Anderson's steel/workrate.Would personally prefer Wharton but Anderson is obviously fantastic. Both great players with bags of potential.
Just a personal preference to Wharton but in reality both are similar profiles right now.
Swap with Tijjani ?
Only way i see this as a realistic signing is if Forrest get relegated. Otherwise theyll want 100mill. Cant see us paying 100mill for one player
Hope your right, just think with our new man in charge he will want to find the next anderson at a decent priceLiverpool paying the figures they did in the summer, Chelsea before that with Enzo and Caicedo, Arsenal with Rice, Madrid with Bellingham, us with Grealish.
£100m is the go to figure nowadays for a rising talent, especially if he is English and in the national team.
Add in the fact he is in demand and I think reluctantly we pay it.
I always thought that we’d be reluctant to spend 100 again after Jack, but it seems to be the new norm. We have spent 60ish multiple times maybe the club are more open to it now as we’ve missed out on a few.Only way i see this as a realistic signing is if Forrest get relegated.
