4 | Tijjani Reijnders - 2025/26

He doesn't have the physicality required for the PL. He looks miles off it and incapable of winning the ball. I would love to see his stats for ball recovery and duels, they must be abysmal. We would have been better off keeping Grealish and playing him in the middle.

He did well in the derby, missed a chance but played well i thought
Yeah, he had a decent game from what I can recall. Feel like that one-on-one chance was a bit of a sliding doors moment for him. If he'd buried it, he would have been full of confidence having bagged two goals in his first four appearances. Instead his confidence seems to be draining a bit, and nothing he tries really comes off at the moment. Way too early to be writing him off though, as some seem to be doing.

*sigh* We already have to replace him because he’s not what we thought he was.

He doesn't need replacing. It's been less than half the season ffs.

He's been disappointing but lets hope he gets used to the intensity and speed of this league and comes good.

Rodri, Gundogan, Fernandinho and Toure all struggled for the first 6 months or more. Some coped better than others but it took them a while to get to their best.

yeah agree with this as a fair assessment. A long way from writing him off myself. We have more pressing issues and I have faith he will come good.

Forget Savinho, Bobb and anyone else, this guy is our biggest problem at the moment.

He's got a lot of ability but he's been incredibly underwhelming in such an influential position.

If Mukasa was in there doing what he's doing we'd be wanting him out of the first team. Needs to do more.
Miles better tonight. Even without the goal he's looking more in tune.

Great first half but once again became Casper the ghost in the usual shite second half, it wasn't just his fault but fuck me can he win a single tackle ?

Lovely goal, the finish was impeccable, was pretty much his 1 and only contribution in the entire game though. If he is doing that regularly enough, you maybe accept it but it would have to be very regularly though as he offers nothing else.

yep, nice finish but does not influence middle of the pitch. not sure what he is great at. certainly wouldnt get close to a prime Rodri, Gundo, KDB midfield.
he is nowhere to be seen when we are out of possession. tackles, tracking back etc. Pep wont put up with this for too long.
