Did Txiki "have eyes"? Pep? Soriano?

Do you never wonder why he's one of very few trusted players to come off the bench? Why we didn't sell him? Why Pep plays him on either wing instead of the other options?

Did fine when he came on, mixed bag going forwards, worked hard, pressed, made good interceptions, was inconsistent on the dribble, thought he might have got a foul off Bassey but he didn't.

The fact so many of you are so blinded by disliking the lad that you think Nico for Stones had less impact on midfield control than Doku for Savinho is crazy to me.

I don't understand how we can have watched the same game if that's what you saw. He comes on while the whole team is going to shit and we get none of the ball, he sets up Haaland for what should be an easy goal, he otherwise has little chance to do anything other than try and get us up the pitch when we're under pressure.

He wasn't responsible for any of the 4 disgraceful goals we conceded. Yet you abuse him.

I hope he does leave, his card is marked with the fans now and his confidence is shot. But it's not justified tonight.
 
I cant believe we REJECTED a 70m offer for him just 4 months ago. And then gave him a new and improved contract just 2 months ago. Luckily it expires in only 6 years.

Does Ferran have some sort of side deal with his agent?

Was there some requirement to have a Brazilian in the squad for marketing reasons?

He doesn't even look like a pro he literally offers nothing, and we turned down 70 million for him?????

I don't even think he's incredible, I only came in the thread to defend him a bit early days and now it's actually insane. People are literally ignoring Nico going off to attack Sav.

If you like being in the set of fans making up songs about how you hate your own players there you go.

Confidence? Twice he had the chance to run at their defence, once to go clean through on goal and the first time he left the ball behind and the second occasion he kicked it right too them with a touch a Hollywood executive would be proud of

As I stated, I was one of the few that continued to back him until a few weeks ago. I’m one of the few on here that says it as I see it, and if that means I have to come on here and say I got something wrong, I do it. I was 100% wrong about this lad. He has the backbone of a fucking jellyfish.

If he was going to throw his toys out of the pram because he didn’t get his dream move to fucking Spurs, he should have just told the club at the time. We’ve been left with a grade A mard-arse, who clearly doesn’t want to be here and I hope he gets his wish. The sooner, the better for all concerned.
 
Somehow Savio is getting more heat than any of our back line or our main captains in Dias and Silva. The cameo was poor (as usual) but it wasn’t remotely his fault we conceded in quick succession and were easy to cut through.
 
This hasnt helped him at all, coming on with a commanding lead and playing a part in a near capitulation

He looks out of his depth, with little understanding of what is going on around him.

Come on he still was given the ball in acres of space multiple times and lost it easily which put the entire team in trouble. His effort to stop the corner - when everyone could see we were not great at defending them - was piss poor too.

That cameo was a shocker - I know there is a player in there but it seems to me that since the Spurs interest he is playing for himself and not for the team. Several lost their heads tonight including our skipper who was equally poor but to say that was a good appearance is wrong. He could and should have added energy after not playing at the weekend.
