Kick off time 15:00 (GMT).

Another Saturday 3 o'clock game which is nice.

Going to a tough game if their start and our last 2 games are anything to go by. They'll be physically with us and get at us with pace.

Think Pep has to find a way of tweaking it whilst still keeping the defence pretty solid. Got Real (A) on Wednesday, so got to have that in mind too.

------------Donnaruma
Stones---Dias--Gvardiol--Ait-Nouri
-------Gonzalez---O'Reilly
------------------Cherki
------Foden--------------Doku
----------------Haaland

Got to get back to a 4-2-3-1 to seal up that midfield

I've been very tolerant of Nunes and O'Reilly but my patience has run out with both
On Saturday I'd play Ake or Gvardiol at left back and Stones at right back

Sunderland play a similar style to Fulham and it's a free hit for them

Let's suck them in and smash them on the break

Sunderland are all long throws, set pieces, breaking the game up with fouls. More like Brentford than Fulham.

City need their tallest team possible.

both score must be 100%. there is no way this Sunderland doesnt score.

hopefully they will be bit tired after a draw/tight win at Anfield tomorrow night. game is 3pm Saturday, so we can relax bit more than them.

Genuinely think Sunderland may get a result here. I’m thinking a tight game going to be hard for them to control haaland but Leeds did. I’m saying 0-0

Nunes and oreilly are the least of our problems at the minute.

Screenshot_20251202_224022_Chrome.jpgNeed more slidity in the middle and back so despite them still not fullyatch fit time to bring actual defenders into the fullback positons and use O'Rielly to support Gonzo in the middle.

Foden got a knock so maybe rest him, as we need to not risk him, but if so in for Rejinders

I get the same feeling .... Sunderland are energetic and have some good players, they have looked good this season, especially at home .... this could turn out to be a difficult game for City, and especially if we're feeling tiredness after tonights game.

Think we need Rodri for this one.

I wouldn't bet on him coming back before January. There's probably a lot more to his absence than we know, and we can't afford to risk him.
I'll be happy if he's back for the run-in and we're still in with a chance.
