9 | Erling Haaland - 2025/26

Just the two assists as well as his goal but yeah, he should be the main defender as well.
I don't think you can class the "assist" for Foden's goal as something he did intentionally, lol. He miscontrolled it and it just fell in the right spot.

He's brilliant going forward but he needs to do more work to stop attacks. It's that simple.

He didn’t even mis control it, it hit the back of his heel, don’t think he knew anything about it!
The defensive work he does from opposition set pieces is exceptional and his goal scoring is exceptional, his link up play and overall game is coming on leaps and bounds.
I’m more concerned that every single midfielder and defender (and wingers) shit themselves in 50/50 tackles, don’t pick up runners, gift the opposition goals and don’t pick up players on the edge of the box when there’s a loose ball..
I think expecting him to chase down everything would be detrimental to his game and he’d be knackered by 70 mins every game if he did.

Mr Haaland...everyone knows about your goals but I want to congratulate you on your overall play. Your ball control and retention in tight situations alongwith your passing is absolutely top class. You don't get enough credit for that part of your game. Well done and, by the way, you are even great at doing interviews haha!!!.

Perhaps you should apply for Pep’s job when he leaves. It’s such a simple job.

Hahaha! Not 30 minutes ago you were complaining about Pep's subs and saying that the midfield isn't working hard enough to fill the space in front of the back four. Maybe you should apply for the job as well?
A baffling decision to take Nico off and play the last few minutes with no defensive mid. Stones was very poor when he came on. The space in front of the centre backs is killing us. Until Rodri is fit we need two holders in there. Nico and someone else. Perhaps even O’Reilly till Kova is fit.

If you want him to be able to play 3 games a week and make 60 yard lung busting runs in behind at full speed he can't press like Tevez.

He's only human, he's not actually Thor.

Insane of pep to keep him on in the last 20 minutes. Even more insane that our entire buildup plan consisted of trying to find him with a long ball. He was completely gassed. Bizarre game management from pep, just absolutely bizarre

I want to see more of Marmoush tbh, one way or another. You're absolutely right that Haaland can't sustain 90 minutes in every game we play but Pep hasn't picked the right games to leave him out of. Partly down to him just not trusting the B-squad.

Marmoush is a huge huge problem I agree. We have a 60 million signing on North of 250k a week playing less than 5 minutes a game if that. If Pep doesn't rate him we need to be brutal and decisive and get him out and replaced.

I think Marmoush is a very good player and in the right set up could be really effective but his first touch is bad and that's extremely important to play in a Pep side.

I really don't have a clue why we signed him. It's beginning to look like he was a desperate hail Mary to try and secure CL football in January and I suppose he did his job in that case. Because if he isn't getting on the pitch over Savinho he's not putting Erling on the bench.
