Gundo wasn't much of a goalscorer until the last couple of years with us in his first spell.

The most league goals he had in his first 4 seasons with us was 6 goals. I could see Reijnders getting to that amount if he keeps getting forward. He's on 2 at the moment. Gundo got 4 league goals the first season he was able to play a full season for us.

It took Gundo 5 years with us to get into double figures for a season. So there's a chance Reijnders can follow that path.

Give him a chance

Their career goals per game ratio is pretty much the same....
 
Cherki a must today. Need more players on the pitch who can just keep hold of the ball. Big game today. Hopefully Arsenal drop points then game on.

I watched them for the first time against Liverpool and they played in a low block in either a 4-5-1 or 5-4-1. They were content to let Liverpool have a lot of possession.

You should also look at the fouls table in post 177.

Unfair comment. I think Reijnders looks like a no. 10 who is playing a deeper role for the side. At least let's see how he develops.

That said, i currently don't rate Nico O's ability to play in a congested middle. I think he is not as comfortable as mist presume he'll be

Yeah but our players get fouled the referee don’t count them as fouls he lets them go
 
Madrid next week. Who is rested today?
I shall generously let Pep pick the team. I will however encourage the boys to concentrate for all 90 minutes.
 
Looking forward to this, weirdly its a good test. Arsenal, Chelsea and Dippers all struggled against these so if we can get 3pts and turn in a good performance it might just give us some much needed confidence after the Fulham game.
