Had a good day

We first respected them at maine road when they brought a crazy amount of fans knowing they were relegated.
In the 80'and 90's we had a few tastie away events at Rocker park.
Obviously since our Agueroooooooo moment. We have a soft spot for them.
I think today was a bridge too far after the effort they put in at Klanfield midweek.
Credit to them on this season premier league form.
Looking forward to next week's game at the stadium of light.

Met some top locals.
Townley arms??? People were shocked Sunderland fans went in, but we were treat brilliantly.

Not convinced it was a 3 nil game but, it happens.

Donnarumma doesn't make that save at 2 nil and it's game on. Glad you had a good day and hopefully you can finish as high up the table as possible. Thanks for Aguero Day.

Their fans understand what its like to play in different divisions. Bit like us.
I thought they played poorly yesterday at the game but revised my opinion when I rewatched it today. They were ok. Just we were better.

Had some good days at Roker in the old days. I noticed Disco Pants was conflicted in his support yesterday in an interview with Cheesy but tended to City without being explicit.

Me too, loved going to Roker Park, a proper football ground ..... top supporters.

Sunderland did miss a couple of chances ...... but Reijnders, Haaland, Cherki, Doku, could have added to Citys total.

A beast of a place. When that crowd got up for it? Jeezis…….
Absolutely .... as they were in that pulsating FA Cup replay in 1973 , they won it 3-1 after a 2-2 draw at our place .... almost 52,000 were at Roker for that game, and in 1973 there probably wasnt much crowd segregation either.

En route to yesterday's match we were reminiscing over the midweek game circa Feb 77 when they brought thousands to Maine Road (47,000 that night compared to 41,000 v Norwich the previous midweek)

12 years old and sat in the Platt Lane with my schoolmates and no parental supervision,.whilst surrounded by row upon row of travelling Mackems.

I always remember relegation-threatened Sunderland having a.disallowed.goal.(McCann?) and the whole block, minus our little gang, erupting.
