Badly can I have your woolly Hat!
Thats the problem you and your ilk would rather neck a pint than watch the game, madness.
There was a Blues Brothers tribute act without a band doing Karaoke or miming first up and no way I enduring such a cheap pub act whatever was next.Think more people hung about after the disappointment of the defeat, because of the hope that Oasis would be playing.
Felt sorry for both Doves & Badly Drawn Boy as everyone had fingers crossed for Noel & Liam turning out...
Correct, until 5.30pm. Mental that was less than 40 years ago!I have gone to the back of the Kippax to the bar - at half-time and you couldn't get near. Loads of brown outfit bus drivers must have paid admission cos the pubs shut at 3pm in the 1980s.
I do kind of agree. It does just seem to be excuse after excuse for why we can’t create any atmosphere now. The games too early, the opposition isn’t good enough, we’ve scored too early, we aren’t winning, we’re winning too easily. Even in some of the bigger games it’s been shite as well.City fans need to look in the mirror rather than blame every fucker else
22 quid for a lad to watch City is absolutely brilliant. He’ll love it. It’s a great price. Get it paid£21.50 for a 5 year old against West ham on historically the worst Saturday for attendance of the season .
Anyone want to guess what the north stand might look like ?
It's almost like City think the 5 year old is coming on their own FFS , Clueless
Are you Brian Pintado?...and I stay and clap them off - as I did in the Main Stand at Maine Road, and travel from Euston for every game. A quick walk back gets me on time for the 5.35 to London...
Well glad they enjoy all that but what they aren't doing is making any noise in the stadium same as every fucker else in there.Thank fuck Bluemoon is in no way representative of our fanbase.
I booze in Fallowfield before and after the match. We have a minibus of young old blokes lads girls mums who go to every game. Some fuck off to the Corner Shop boozer early doors, some stay and clap the team off. But we all absolutely fucking love the whole thing - meeting in the boozer before the game, watching the lads at the game, boozing after the game. 90% of them don’t ever read Bluemoon.
Happy to follow the boys and nit wallow in the self-flagellation and woe-is-me bollocks that gets posted on here.
Give it a rest.Well glad they enjoy all that but what they aren't doing is making any noise in the stadium same as every fucker else in there.
Ha ha ha. I’ll let them knowWell glad they enjoy all that but what they aren't doing is making any noise in the stadium same as every fucker else in there.
Ha , so commentating on our piss poor home atmosphere makes me a rag? Give it a rest people like you are the reason it won't ever change , can't have a negative word said against the blues or your a rag let's just all pretend everything is perfect, prick.Give it a rest.
In fact, change your username.
Something more in keeping with you as a fan.
Like, Robbo’s reds, Baileys Boys, Fergies fan club.
You know, just so you don’t need to WUM anymore.
“This one’s for the Main Road Stand.”Badly can I have your woolly Hat!
How can it not have an impact? If a significant number of people are not in the stadium at the time, how can that not have an effect on the atmosphere?I have no idea why people get a bee in their bonnet about this. The time people arrive and leave has no bearing on match day atmosphere.
Make sure it’s the first item on the agenda next time you meet up with them in Fallowfield, mate!Ha ha ha. I’ll let them know
Don’t necessarily agree with the last part mate, but are you honestly saying the emotion for the Wigan game, when we hadn’t even secured promotion, was greater than in 2012 or 2022?At most games at Maine Rd I would watch from the Kippax as a trickle of bodies would pass down the Platt Lane steps with 20 mins to go. By the last 5 minutes it would become a flood as hundreds streamed out, probably happened in other parts of the ground but the Platt Lane exodus was most notable. Nothing new about blues leaving early. I maintain however the no game at the Etihad could beat the raw emotion of the Boro league cup semi, the Charlton promotion and the Wigan play off. An old man's memory's which will be disputed, but feel the club lost part of its soul when we left Moss Side.
So you all think the atmosphere is good at the Etihad and find it enjoyable in the stands with the complete lack of songs and banter to join in with?Thank fuck Bluemoon is in no way representative of our fanbase.
