Thanks and that’s a great effort with your mate in Auckland. As a young man I took a lad from college to a game, a neutral, or what they would call a tourist. He fell in love that day with life on the Kippax, hardly missed a game at home whilst he lived in Manchester.
40 years on he lives in Auckland and phones after every Cup final or big match. He watches every City match and has made some City supporting mates to meet up with.
Personally I spend time in Spain and love going to different grounds, I don't feel this angst against me over there.
How many more guaranteed sales would it have been if they hadn't pissed people off to come off the cup schemes ?Just heard the radio advert for Brentford at home “no membership required” apparently only 36k sold which is a good effort.

It’s been tried for a few CL matches recently, but the one that 1894 have isn’t the loudest. I believe the ones that Dortmund used would cost quite a bit, especially if it will only be used a few times a season (I doubt there would be any desire to use it in PL games)Chaps, I know it’s cringey and sounds horrible but watching the Liverpool inter match - the guy on the microphone does get the fans going.
As a last resort to improve our atmosphere would anyone be for this?
Not for the whole match but just a few intros to get the crowd going
I think 1894 are trying to introduce it slowly. I think it's a good idea and definitely worth a proper try, as I think it could potentially help link some of the different areas of SS0 and get them singing in unison.Chaps, I know it’s cringey and sounds horrible but watching the Liverpool inter match - the guy on the microphone does get the fans going.

The 1894 lads are not adverse to trying things. But there is no point in trying things if the fans won’t buy into it, otherwise you are flogging a dead horse, a megaphone, a drum, and not getting singing sections singing to each other, etc.I think 1894 are trying to introduce it slowly. Disheartening to know that there are many people who stand in our singing section and either don't sing, or just complain when someone tries something new that could improve the atmosphere. The 1894 lads are not adverse to trying things. When 20 fans are trying to start chants at the back of 115, and hundreds of other fans in 115 are stood there in silence, not singing, what can you do?
Someone should just bring back that fog horn that we had in the Kippax BITD.
...De, de, de, de, de, de, de. de, de....CITY!
Simple but quite effective and got everyone involved.
!here lies the problem £21.50 for a 5 year old is an absolute disgrace should be no more than £5 they will have a parent with them paying full price .what we are doing is making City a Xmas and birthday destination for kids ,what we should be doing is, kids this is what we do at weekend for the next few years till you leave home then you can decide yourself.22 quid for a lad to watch City is absolutely brilliant. He’ll love it. It’s a great price. Get it paid
First thing me for ages we actually saw them in the stands a few times in a CL game.Could hear our fans in the second half with booming chants of ‘We Love You City’ ‘The Best Team In The Land And All The World’ ‘Blue Moon’ ‘We’re Not Really Here’ etc. last night.
All Under 18 tickets are a fiver for Brentford no?I’m hoping the win in Madrid boosts sales for the Bretford and Exeter games.
Is City’s advertising misleading and there aren’t junior tickets at £5 for Brentford?
