Thanks for the report. I didn't know about your connections to Ampadu, and Stansfield. Ampadu is doing well at Leeds. We played them recently. They are a very physical side and so is Ampadu.
Small world - this is where I grew up! Former blue Neil McNab lived there whilst manager at Exeter.I lived in a village called Silverton in second year, which was a beautiful place.

City have always been my first club due to family connections but I've held a season ticket at both MCFC and Exeter City (in my teens when the 225 mile journey to Manchester wasn't doable) so this will be a weird one for me.

He’s only doing his job but there are a lot of ties much more attractive to the broadcasters than ours. Not sure why he’s so concerned about ‘prime time’ - FA Cup TV money is the same* whatever time a game kicks off.Exeter pushing for prime time TV coverage for our tie

This would be enormously appreciated, however unlikely it seems. Probably the cheapest good PR you could buy!Absolutely. Would be a great gesture if we offered to give up our share of the gate receipts to help them out. Sounds like they’re really struggling atm.
Exeter does not have a port - although does a have a nice quayside on the River Exe (we're about 15 miles-ish from the coast).Yep, Plymouth is definitely the naval port in that part of the world .... Exeter does have a port, but isn't an operational naval base like Plymouth is.
For me it was the days of the New Inn, great little boozer and we got on like a house on fire with the landlord cos we spent so much lol. Lived in a bordering on derelict old farmhouse called Lower Hayne, it’s been done up now and sold for millions, was a proper fucking dump when we lived there.Small world - this is where I grew up! It is odd with 6k gates the club continues to struggle financially. This would be enormously appreciated, however unlikely it seems. Probably the cheapest good PR you could buy!
(That or purchase one of our Academy prospects for a few million - although we'd only get the money in installments and still have to pay tax on the whole lot up front, so would probably end up being out of pocket. It's tough being a minnow!). UTC!

The logical way to go would be for us to play Wednesday then Saturday. No big deal to play two home games in that timeframe especially when there will be major squad rotation. Rags v Brighton will be on TV so no issue to play that on the Sunday and better for Brighton to have the additional day.So we play twice in 3 days or brighton make the journey up here twice in 3 days wonder which way they will pick
Why so? We'd probably need at least double those gates just to stand still financially. Football is an expensive business these days.It is odd with 6k gates the club continues to struggle financially.
So aside from Rags v BHFC I wonder which other matches will be chosen?BBC has two live games per round plus one semi final and (of course) the final.
