How the hell are we winning? All this talk about Alonsos job being at risk, the true sackable offence has been Peps setup here. Woeful tactics from him. This setup is worse than the starting 11 he put out against leverkusen.

He better change it second half. Drop Bernardo central next to Nico so we can actually have something resembling a midfield, that one change will make a world of difference. Need to stop throwing everybody ahead of the ball and then attacking at walking pace, it's just suicide without any benefit. I want to see us attack quicker but without throwing everybody forward.

All we need to do is sit in position and not give them space to attack then we can hit them on the break and finish them. That is also all we needed to do at Fulham though and we did the exact opposite.

I have no idea how we are in front. We have been shockingly bad.

We need to do something about this midfield. Bernie has been absolute turd and having Cherki and Foden floating around isn’t helping. Real aren’t even any good but our own poor play in the middle is killing us and helping them.

Real are absolute horrible cunts to play against. The diving, the moaning. It’s fucking atrocious.

Foden was virtually out of the game after the booking. He can’t make any sort of challenge. I’d be tempted to take him off now and tighten up a bit.
