Supporters planning to attend this Sunday’s match between Crystal Palace and Manchester City (14th December, 14:00 GMT) at Selhurst Park should note that, due to planned engineering works, there will be no trains calling at Norwood Junction (all day) or Thornton Heath (in the hours immediately before and after the game).

Crystal Palace station looks like it's still open but it's a right trek from there. Not sure if there's anywhere nearer? Only ever been to Norwood Junction.

Selhurst has trains running to it , Thornton Heath does also but not about 2 hrs before and after the game .

Looks like Victoria to Selhurst is the best option if travelling by train, so where will blues be drinking before game?

I was reading a thread on X, mainly with Palace fans and apparently this is the third time this has happened this season on match days. The consensus was that Selhurst station is totally inadequate to accommodate large numbers of fans. Multiple fans were talking about being held for well over an hour in the street outside the station after the game, before they could even get in the station, let alone anyway near a train.

Might be ok getting there, but doesn't sound a great option afterwards.

Sounds the same for a lot of London based teams.

Arsenal away was always a long queue, worst was West Ham at Upton Park

Thats very annoying. Probably look to get an Uber to a station on another line then...

I'm not queuing for hours at the station like I did at Sevensisters after Tottenham, took friggin ages!

I don't mind Arsenal though as there's options, only 15 min walk to either Highbury or Finsbury Park.

Agree on Upton Park, and I always find getting away from Chelsea to be annoying
