I remember Warnock once being introduced as "England international ". Didn't he play 5 minutes in a friendly against Australia when most of the better players didn’t travel.

I also read that Football Focus has lost something like 66% of their viewing figures since Alex Scott became a permanent fixture. A bit similar to when Jenas was on the One Show. Apparently he was close to loosing his job until he self destructed.
