Premier League Games | 13/14/15 December '25

Greatest period I will probably ever have as a football fan mate.

It's a blessing and a curse though because a huge section of the fanbase will forever judge the future of the club by that high barometer and in my opinion it will never be met again.

It's good to have standards, but I don't want us to be a club where if we don't win the league we should sack the manager, get rid of all the players, slander them all on social media etc.. and we are all arguing with each other as a fanbase.

TBF mate even though we've not won a league title in 20 odd years. Football has been fortunate for us. Just good football is a blessing really and an FA Cup is amazing,

As you said about the football base wanting to sack managers. The manager that gave my club all, the vultures came out for him and abused him despite him doing an excellent job considering a limited backing. It was really heart breaking and I gave up on us for a few years because of it.

And to be honest even if we win a title this season, I don't think it will have been as enjoyable as losing a few under Wenger while playing better football.

Exactly. Pressure is on City now in a tough game at Palace. But if they win there then the pressure is right back on Arsenal to win at Everton.
Agree, as we have West Ham at home. I expect us to win that, but as we saw tonight, easy expected wins are not always so.

Fair comment mate.

So on my feed they surprisingly showed (thought they'd ignore it) Saka very likely offside in the build up play that led to the corner that saw the first OG off Wolves.

So we're just turning a blind eye now?

What the actual fuck.

Doesn't really matter who scored them, the scoreline says 2-1.
Shows cracks are appearing though, they're not as good as they think they are. A lot on here played down our season opener at Wolves because they've been so poor all season yet Arsenal only scraped past them with a last gasp own goal, and they've been unconvincing in quite a few matches recently. That suggests a better team would have probably beaten them.

Good post, was you at the game today?

Yeah we bottled that by getting an injury time goal to win again just like we did at SJP.
That's how Liverpool started the season and as I said at the time, they're not going to keep scraping last minute winners....

I hear both Arsenal goals were own goals too, so not like your strikers are on fire.

Chelsea's goal against Arsenal was offside btw. Swings and roundabouts. You can't bemoan one set of circumstances without looking at another. Hopefully it all evens out over the course of a season, although it does show that the semi automated offside is bollocks.

The cracks have always been there to be honest, just like liverpool and City.

This season will end up close one way or another, hopefully we'll be involved.

There’s no pressure on city

We’ve won 4 of the last 5 titles. No city fan will be on their backs if they don’t win the league

All the pressure is on arsenal after bottling the league constantly over the last few seasons

Not lost their for 10 years mate.

Palace are 15th in the home table.

Easy win mate.
Well the rags managed to win there a couple of weeks ago so I don't see why we should have anything to fear.

Probably won't be an easy game but then few are these days. If we can win at Madrid we can win anywhere.
