Match Thread | Crystal Palace vs. Manchester City (14/12/25)

Lucky to be in front but ill take it

Really struggling to get anything meaningful out from the back, but that's largely down to Foden, Reijnders and Haaland offering nothing in terms of movement

Cherki the only one in the front 4 looking anything like dangerous, which has to change in the 2nd half

Foden has to start finding a way to get involved in these types of games; he'll always pop up with a goal but these are the games where we need to control and take pressure off the back 5, can only do that with our front players taking some control

A tough watch first half, if we get out of here with 3 points I'll take that all day long unless something changes.
Powder puff midfield with no legs worries me.

Just waiting for commentators to say ‘winning when you’re not playing well - it’s the mark of champions’

Won’t hold my breath though…..fairly sure it was overused yesterday….
Nope they are still going on about our being vulnerable and scraping by against Fulham. I guess I dreamed Arsenal'a shit show against 2 point Wolves yesterday

If we continue to let them run behind they will eventually time one of their runs right.

Riejnders ghosting through another game.

Foden also needs to wake up and come alive.

Quality is very poor today. Game littered with sloppy passes and carelessly giving the ball away.

He seems to find himself in a lot of space fairly regularly, receives the ball, turns and runs up to pitch only to make the complete wrong decision. His off the ball work is even worse. I'm a happy clapper and I've had enough of him. Should be sat down and eased back in. Problem is we need some legs in the middle and no one else available.
Ait-Nouri would be better than him.
