A good half away against a really tough team. We've generally had control of the tempo of the game, their only real opportunities have come from them being constantly offside (the one that hit the crossbar looked close but ultimately think he is just offside) and shots from outside the box.

A couple of bits of magic from Cherki that were very close to coming off.

Same again in the second half. They'll start to tire as we have far more possession and they're doing a lot of pressing - plus they played on Thursday.

Just need to avoid letting it become too open.

Would like to see Savio fairly quickly in this 2nd half.

Shouldn’t complain to much when we are winning but today we have Reeinders and Foden both taking the easy options.

We struggle to win any 50/50 tackles in defence or the middle.

Lucky we have Nunes and Cherki as are only creators.

I'd agree. We've had the ball but done nothing with it. Barely troubled them and they look very dangerous, some poor finishing and really bad timing of the runs is the only reason they dont have a healthy lead here.

Ruejnder is not effective playing as a second striker and useless for both defence getting back into midfield and attack, if you want a player to sit behind haaland play marmoush.

the only issue is that so far RAN performances (and I know its only a few) have shown that he is also completely spineless....another fullback who wants to attack and doesnt want to defend.
