Great result.

First half was very poor, second half much more connected through the team. We got away with that first half performance and we cant keep doing that.
Having said that second half Cherki and Foden stepped up centrally. Nico OReilly again proves why he is first choice fullback and Nunes was again good (great assist again)

Cherki's ability to control a game is growing...he has that Spannish Dave ability to affect a whole game and hopefuly he grows even more into that role.

Nico G is an absolute workhorse - he may not get everything spot on BUT he is growing and never ever stops

The downside is Reijnders - he should be nowhere near the starting 11 - we won that game despite his insipid, lazy and woeful effort and performance. ......that was nothing short of disgraceful and there is zero excuse for it - none! The club and team cannot afford to wait for him to decide to put some physical effort in...watching him watching the game pass him by with little effort to get involved especially defensively is very irritating. If he came out and said he wanted a return to Italy in the next few months I wouldnt be surprised - that is the attitude he is showing at present....little to do with ability which makes it more annoying. And none of this is a first.....it's nearly every game
 
The days of Pep's City team controlling the game by keeping the ball seem long gone especial with Rodri still injued but doesnt it make a change to see opposing teams not taking their chances & us scoring at important times
 
Absolutely brilliant win in fact i'd go so far as to say it's a statement win

Away to a sort of bogey team who are having a great year, after a draining midweek game at the toughest away ground in Europe - to play like that was perhaps the seminal moment in this iteration of City
 
Great result that, superb - particularly as we were off colour in the first half. We got stronger as the game went on and won in the end with something to spare.

Cherki superb, Foden again added the magic dust and Nunes also very good today. The back 4 as a whole played well and we are second in the table having not played our best footy either. Well done Blues - on to Wednesday.

Henderson complaining about the penalty was quite the look - does he now assume every VAR official is a Palace fan after that debacle last May?

Excellent 3 points.

It’s clear the players love Cherki, even in our squad’s quality his creativity stands out.

We are doing well just now and are involved in exciting games but I do think our control would go to a new level if we had Rodri or a Kova in with Nico.

have you ever seen a team with so many tricks /flicks/and back heels.
Their all at it .not a complaint btw
 
A solid performance and great result.

Bernie and Nico G for me were excellent.

We aren’t the smooth viewing we used to be, but we are making a fist of it.

I’d like us to bring in a wide option and a full back in the window, then I’d really start to believe.
