Glad to see the central defenders get their act together after a shaky first half.
Hope Doku is back soon because once he is back that's our right and left hand side sorted.

Question is who do we bring in & as much as I rate Wharton hes more of a Rodri replacement who can dictate the play by recycling the ball & picking passes than someone whos a ball winning midfielder

I would go for Wharton and Anderson. No idea if they are long-term answers but they’re both better than what we currently have. I didn’t see this City side being in a title-race but now we are, don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Buy them, win the title and then worry about next season and beyond.

Not great in the 1st half but nicked a goal, started poorly in the 2nd half and had to dig in. Ended up being an impressive win with Nunes, Cherki and Dias/Gavrdiol being very very good.
I expect the Arse would have expected us to drop a couple of points there.
No attempt by Henderson to win the ball, just trips Savinho but of course, again immune from a red card for some reason.

For me, the most satisfying win of the season. Incredibly difficult place, started slow, but grew into the game and left comfortably the better team. All of them had their moments today.

Sorry I dont think this is harsh at all...not evne close - its every time he is on the pitch....its some of the worst performances by an individual for us since Pep took over including Benjamin Mendy and Kalvin Phillips...at present he is giving those 2 a run for their money - the worst part is that he has the technical skill to be a success for a Pep team.....but his effort/drive or whatever you want to call it is abysmal

As a blues fan i am truly blessed. Last season was supposedly bad but we still came 3rd. The teams re-built. City are performing very well & getting great results. Hopefully a few academy or squad players can up their games so that the afcon players are not missed in the next 2 months. Go Pep, Go Sheik Mansour, Go City. Away fans fantastic again.

First half was very poor, second half much more connected through the team. We got away with that first half performance and we cant keep doing that.
Having said that second half Cherki and Foden stepped up centrally. Nico OReilly again proves why he is first choice fullback and Nunes was again good (great assist again)

Cherki's ability to control a game is growing...he has that Spannish Dave ability to affect a whole game and hopefuly he grows even more into that role.

Nico G is an absolute workhorse - he may not get everything spot on BUT he is growing and never ever stops

The downside is Reijnders - he should be nowhere near the starting 11 - we won that game despite his insipid, lazy and woeful effort and performance. ......that was nothing short of disgraceful and there is zero excuse for it - none! The club and team cannot afford to wait for him to decide to put some physical effort in...watching him watching the game pass him by with little effort to get involved especially defensively is very irritating. If he came out and said he wanted a return to Italy in the next few months I wouldnt be surprised - that is the attitude he is showing at present....little to do with ability which makes it more annoying. And none of this is a first.....it's nearly every game

I thought it was Reijjnders best game so far (low bar so far admittedly), I thought he contributed quite a lot to e team that looked assured.

Not sure where you get "poor first half" from either, we largely controlled the game, yes they had chances but we defended most of them well. In fact I thought it was our best defensive game of the season comfortably, and the way we saw out the second half was excellent.

Even a great run by Savinho to win the penalty.

I'd give 7/10 for everyone, and couple of others higher.

A difficult team (and away game) negotiated relatively easily, especially after midweeks efforts.

I wouldn't mind Glasner at least getting an interview for the job when Pep does eventually leave. What he's doing with this Palace team is very impressive.

Vital three points. I thought we played much better in the second half. Nunes and Cherki the standouts in my eyes. O'Reilly was rock solid as usual.

Are you serious? What they play is anti football. Couldn't think of many worse options than Glasner.

We’ve seen time and time again the need for players to adjust to the city system. Reindeer has the attributes for sure. At the moment though the game looks a bit too fast for him and he needs to adjust to that. I’m hopeful
