would like some update on doku. really hope it's not a serious injury.
Really? I thought Guehi looked very impressive against the best striker in the world. Showed strength, anticipation, athleticism. Wharton looked decent too. Some great defence splitting passes at times (awful shooting though).I watched Guehi and Wharton as we were linked with them and wasn't bowled over if I'm honest. Guehi looked quick and strong but he didn't stand out and Wharton had flashes but he didn't stand out against (arguably) our"weak" midfield.
It doesn't matter whether we can see it or not (hint: we can). IT'S NOT THE POINT! We're not picking the team or deciding who we sign in the transfer market, what are you hoping to achieve, get a bunch of like-minded idiots together and pop round and have a word with Pep?where did i say i wasn't happy? all i pointed out was we need to get our midfield reinforced and if you can't see that i your not watching the same game, yes it was a great result but you can see certain players are starting to struggle without any rest and midfield is the most important area of the pitch if you want to control the game, hope that explains everything to you and the other two nobheads
I was mildly surprised as they kept going on and on yet never admitted it was moot as he appeared miles offsides. That must have been 2 yards offside. it obviously never reviewed. They showed it once from the angle that showed off, then just kept showing it from behind the play..
Bang on Cleavs, apart from the kit obviously.I can't believe people are finding stuff to complain about today.
That nearside camera lens flare in the first half was pissing me right off. Put a fucking lens hood on it next time you cheapskate cunts.Great result, good performance against a decent side, but still i found two things that peed me off. Firstly , that kit is dreadful and secondly, how bad the tv camera work was at Selhurst park. I will get over it though.
Yeah I conceded that one earlier.Bang on Cleavs, apart from the kit obviously.
Exactly. Although I still think we should have gone for it at the Emirates rather than trying to hand on for 90- minutes. If we'd have done something like Leverkusen did to us and gone for the second goal...but it's done, we might have lost too so onwards and upwards. If it wasn't for a scabby own goal last night and an injury time equaliser at the Emirates, we'd be 3 points clear with a better goal difference
Get this, the 2 "biggest Clubs" don't even have tv screens for replays and VAR interventions.I didnt realise the away team dont have a tunnel to stand in whilst waiting for the home team.
For the so called best league in the world they are some shitty stadiums.
thought we were the best team in both them games.Same as Madrid really, the second best team but we got away with it. I think we have scored 5 goals from 6 chances over the two games, of which 2 were penalties and one from a corner.
We aren't going to carry on getting away with performances like this. Rodri is needed back desperately.
The ref couldn't see what VAR should have seen. No attempt to play the ball, only an attempt to trip Sav. 100% a red card under the LOTG. Not that it matters I guessI personally think he should have been sent off, but the wording of the LOTG leave it open to interpretation and allow referee's discretion to come into play.
I've no doubt we'll see a different outcome in a similar situation before this season is out.
Actually thought Palace played better than they did at Wembley which is testament to our performance.Payback for Wembley ,
And for the little Harry Potter look a like
( A Palace Manc Fan) on the coach coming home
He was yelling down his mobile to his red mates mouthing off big time, before being told through the PA by the driver to shut it
And b4 several handy lads sat near him would have give him a good hiding
Little Shit.
what are you talking about, read that back to yourself ffs, would you not like kovacic and rodri back to bolster the midfieldIt doesn't matter whether we can see it or not (hint: we can). We won, we're doing well and we just want to enjoy the win, not listen to you nobheads moaning all the time at anything you can find to moan at twice a week.
I have never seen anything from Wharton to convince me he has it to become a City player. He has many qualities but nothing to mark him as an elite player. I'd be surprised if we went in for him.I watched Guehi and Wharton as we were linked with them and wasn't bowled over if I'm honest. Guehi looked quick and strong but he didn't stand out and Wharton had flashes but he didn't stand out against (arguably) our"weak" midfield.
