It's such a shame the African players go tomorrow, they'd have both got 90 minutes in this. Leaves us with limited options.

I'd love to win this competition, there are a lot of players here now that are yet to win anything, experiencing what it's like to win something here could be vital for them. however, league has to take priority and so there has to be heavy rotation.

Team should be picked based on whoever is left over after pep has identified who needs the rest the most. Haaland, Nico, Bernardo, Gvardiol, Nunes would be my must get a rest list. I'm also assuming no further injuries and no returns

I've honestly no idea where Phillips even is, is he even fit? It's highly unlikely but I'd throw him in here if hes available. If he isn't, stick Dias in and push either Lewis or O'Reilly into midfield.

I want to win the tournament and I think the team making 5 changes or so could do it.

Agreed. L***s were the better of two mediocre sides. Even the Leverkusen XI might have a chance against Brentford.

We need to rotate for this one, we have a real lack of squad depth but we can't put out the same 11 in every competition because we have messed up recruitment for the past few windows. Last season Pep said this competition was unimportant and then put out a really strong team against Spurs and several defenders got injured and it totally derailed the season.
