I dont want to do it but we are going to have to rest some of the starters with the fixtures we’ve got coming up. Nico, Erl and Phil all look knackered. Bobb, Rico and Sav all to start I reckon. Hopefully Mukasa. But Cherki and Reindeers could both do a job too.

Alt Nouri & Marmoosh being at AFCON for this game hurts us as I'd have expected them to start.

After the Leverkusen debacle I'd like us to start with a fairly strong side & make changes when the game is comfortable & hopefully we get to see Rodri in 2nd half.

With the African players jetting off tomorrow, Stones and Doku's new injuries, Nico G looking like a player ran into the ground, I am mentally preparing myself for a mass exodus of change on Wednesday.

Haaland will play though.

One of Dias and Gvardiol will have to play because of current injuries and O'Reilly will have to play because of no RAN.

We messed up with him bringing him back before last season was out and then trying him out in the CWC.

One half for Dias and one half for Gvardiol. An opportunity to test O'Reilly in midfield to see how he performs.

It’s a big blow not having Ait-Nouri and Marmoush available. Suddenly the squad depth is looking problematic.
