PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Who says they are billed on that basis?

Lots of services operate on that 'it will take as long as it takes' basis.

I do wonder if the fact the PL shit the bed and rushed their accusations and divided head first into this is part of the reason for the delay, as the true scope of their obliviousness has opened them and the case up to actual examination.

It can’t be lost on the panel the scale of this case, getting bigger by the week, and not to mention the scrutiny they will be under the second they announce one way or another.

Having said all that, how much longer could it possibly take?

On each count, the verdict must be clear: a finding for the league or complaint not proven. They will give their reasons but in the unlikely event of any argument or interpretation that will be apart from the finding, effectively obiter dicta. No dissenting opinion will be given. They won’t want to open the slim window on an appeal.

Maybe the Premier League have decided to just forget about the whole thing.
If we were having a poor season, a small points deduction wouldn't have made a huge difference as long as we finished fifth. But now that we're the only realistic title race against Arsenal, the PL really shouldn't want the title won by default...
They definitley regret starting this.
 
you can be sure this panel aint working on the 24th of Dec let alone any of next week. add in early January break over in Maldives.

if this is not out next 4 days it wont be out this year.

Does anybody really care any more? The only people keeping this relevant are those parasites who have made a name for themselves on the back of it. The sooner we are all in a position where they fuck off and leave our game alone, the better.

Just one of the many areas of the game that do my head in these days.
