Many of those are starters and the others are immediate back ups. Issue is in some cases we have lost the starter and the backup at the same time! EG losing Saliba and Mosquera same time. Losing Gyokeres and Havertz at the same time. Losing Martinelli and Trossard at the same time.
Something else making injury as an excuse when you have £50m+ players to be bring in for every position though.Ugh enough of this. Every year the excuses get rolled out. For a couple of years there was even a Premier League refereeing conspiracy to favour City (where did that go last season?). City have been without their best player for the entire season and have a midfielder from the youth team at left back. It's a normal part of football to have an injury list.
