At a glance, some noteworthy bits.

We lost out on at least £30-40m from our early CL exit.

It seems at least some of the CWC money is included here.

We made nearly a £100m from player sales.

There was about a £170m cost in player amortization for the year.

Wages went down slightly, totally £355m across the club.

since then we've seen the likes of kdb, Gundo, Walker and Ederson as well as txiki all permanently leave, and grealish and Akanji's wages at least being decently subsidised.

haalands got a pay rise and Donnarumma will be on huge money but still can't see that, a few other new contracts and the other new lads coming in resulting in that going up next year, I expect that to come down a decent amount.

The pre-club world cup summer signings of reijnders,cherki and ait-nouri seem to have snuck into last seasons accounts.

They will be accumulated in the balance sheet as an asset and only charged to the profit & loss statement as an annual depreciation charge after they are finished.
