I said it was quite a quick turnaround.

Boring...been done before but with style. Superhero/ heroine films are so dull as ditchwater these days. Ooh...a back story...

To be fair, her storyline is taken from the 21-22 run 'Woman of Tomorrow' and I'm sure it'll have little nods to the CW world and former comic book runs.

Not that i've seen, it may have been stealth'd on and off quite quickly but I've only been able to get it via "non legit" methods.

I think this was going to be a vampire send up, which would have played into the whole action angle better.

What I like about Spielberg is that he's up to date with the latest directorial techniques, so keeps himself in the game.

Assuming it still does. HBO being owned by Warner Bros and Warner Bros being bought by Netflix or Paramount+. feels like that might well scupper any rollout of HBO Max as it will likely be rolled into the parents streaming service.
